Advice From Our Staff:
This is a carbon fiber crankset designed for riders using SRAM’s AXS drivetrain. We recommend this to riders who are looking to upgrade their current crankset to a lightweight and reliable option. Designed to work with or without a power meter, this crankset is great for riders who are looking for a lightweight crankset with precise shifting.
Other Versions to Consider
Force D2 Cranks: We also sell the SRAM Force D2Â which feature an updated finish and use the same 8-bolt chainring interface as the Force D1. The main difference is the Force D2 crank arms are only offered with a DUB spindle, which is the latest spindle standard from SRAM.
RED D1 Cranks: We also sell the SRAM RED D1 Crank Arms which use the same 8-bolt interface, but are lighter and stiffer. The RED are SRAM’s highest end crank arms, so they are more expensive than these Force D1s.
Compatibility
This crankset is compatible with SRAM and Quarq 8-bolt power meters, as well as non-power SRAM AXS spiders and integrated chainrings. It fits SRAM DUB or GXP bottom brackets (based on the spindle type selected).

Excellent customer service for both information and speed of response. Across the country shipping was surprisingly fast. Purchased to pair with a Quarq spider power meter. Install was seamless. Very happy with the results.

Seems to be a great crank set; I bought it to replace a 3 bolt Force 1, as I needed the 8 bolt DUB type to interface with my new Quarq Dzero DUB spider power meter. Surprisingly, new D1 weighed about 30 grams more than my Force 1. I knocked a star off, as the installation instructions should have also included disassembly instructions. It would have saved some time and stress to know that the outer bolt is meant to be left on, to use the inner bolt to jack the NDS crank off the spindle.
Lastly – after a few rides, I started to hear a faint click from the NDS somewhere. I pulled the crank arm back off, reinstalled and re-torqued it and the sound has not returned.

Agree! Thank you for this awesome review, Steve – we really appreciate it. We hope you will continue to enjoy your new crank set. Let us know if there is anything else we can do! Ride safe!

These SRAM Force cranks are very well made. Finishing to all aspects is very refined. Carbon arms are finished in a nice glossy black.
I was worried that I should have spent the extra $$ for the Red cranks to save a few more grams weight, but seriously these are very nice. Once they were on the bike, functioning perfectly from initial setup, I’ve had no regrets.
