Additional LOOK Power Meter Info:
Installation
Like other pedal-based power meters, the LOOK power meter is quick to install and can also be moved between bikes easily. Both the Keo Blade road and X-Track MTB require a standard pedal wrench for installation and removal.
Weight
The Keo Blade weighs only 130 grams per pedal and the X-Track weighs 200 grams per pedal, therefore, they are both very lightweight.
Power Measurement
These power meters are available in both dual- and single-sided versions. The dual-sided version measures power from both legs as well as provides independent left/right power. The single-sided versions measure right leg power and doubles it to estimate your total power.
Batteries
Both of these power meter pedals use a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and feature 60 hours of battery life.
Communication Protocol
These pedals transmit data via both the ANT+ and Bluetooth SMART wireless protocols. This allows you to pair your favorite bicycle computer, smartphone or tablet.
Accuracy
The LOOK Keo Blade and X-Track are +/- 1.0% accurate. This compares to +/- 1.0-2.0% for other power meters.
Cadence Detection
Both of these pedals use an accelerometer built into the pedal to measure cadence.
Warranty
LOOK offers a three-year warranty which covers the power meter from defects in material and workmanship. LOOK also provides a Customer Loyalty Program which reduces the cost of repairs for the original owner.
