Loving these pedals so far! Super solid engagement between the shoe and pedal. Noticed some squeaking after my first ride on them and thanks to them being totally rebuildable I was able to correct the torque on the two hex fasteners on the pedal body-squeaking gone!

  2. Ross (verified owner)

So far so good, looking to get in a lot of miles this weekend. Impressed how easy it was to update to my Wahoo..

    • Power Meter City

Great to hear it’s going smoothly, Ross! Hope you rack up plenty of miles this weekend. If you need any help syncing with your Wahoo, just let us know!

  3. Fernando (verified owner)

I just have a few rides on the new pedals, butbso far so good.
The bearings feel very smooth, if they go bad it is cheaper to fix/repair than the Garmin Rally XC. That was my main reason choosing the Faveros over the Garmins

    • Power Meter City

Thanks for the feedback, Fernando! We’re glad to hear your new pedals are off to a great start. It’s awesome that you’re finding the smooth bearings and repairability a good advantage over the Garmin Rally XC. We hope they continue to perform well on your rides! Let us know if you need anything else.

  4. E (verified owner)

Peddles work but app is internet dependent and wont let you even check battery level without it.😧👎 unhelpful in back country and Garmin does not get sensor info for battery nor do the peddles show on sensor list Garmin connect.
I also found the app to be less than functional and poorly written for an $800 product.
Begs the question what else have the slacked on.

    • Power Meter City

Thank you for sharing your feedback, E. We’re really sorry to hear you’re experiencing issues with the app and the sensor compatibility. We understand how important reliability is, especially when you’re out in the backcountry. Your concerns are valid, and we’ll be sure to pass them along to the Favero team to improve the user experience. We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts, and we hope the rest of your experience with the pedals can still meet your expectations. Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with!

I have these pedals on my Canyon Ultimate CF 8 road bike and have them synced to my Bryton 750 and I love all the data I get. The data changes in real time during my ride. I have not had to charge them yet. But the initial charge was easy to set up.

    • Power Meter City

We’re thrilled to hear the pedals are working perfectly on your Canyon Ultimate CF 8 and that you’re enjoying the real-time data with your Bryton 750. I finally felt like I had the money to afford power pedals, and aim glad I splurged. These were easy to install on my 2002 vintage Trek 520, which I have used for many long bike touring trips, and use for recreational riding. Easy to install. Easy to connect with my Garmin Edge 840. For the winter, the pedals moved to my very old Peugeot UO-8 which is on a Kirk Kinetic trainer. But, since I live in a locale with a cool climate and a lot of rain, making outdoor riding is not enticing, I decided on a SECOND pair of these power pedals so that I don’t have to swap back and forth, indoor to outdoor and back. On my trainer set up, these pedals and the 840 have helped encourage fitness goals and the concrete evidence of goals met. I love data.

    • Power Meter City

It’s awesome to hear you’re enjoying the power pedals and that they’re helping you reach your fitness goals, Mike! Great decision to have a second set—no more swapping back and forth. We’re glad they’ve been easy to install and sync with your Garmin. Thanks for sharing your experience, and keep up the great work on your fitness journey!

  9. Michael Ybaben (verified owner)

I have the Assioma Duo road pedals on my commuter bike and love them! I like to wear MTB pedals on my road bike so I can walk and wanted to try these Pro MX-2 pedals. They are amazing! Fit is very close to my Shimanos and the Favero quality is top notch. Highly recommended!

These pedals are amazing. And bulletproof. Short XC races. 12 hour events. Rock gardens. Rooted old school single track. Sand. Even an occasional unplanned ejection! Not a single problem! I love all the data they provide. They are helping me try to ride more efficiently. Definitely 5 stars.

  11. Greg Rajkovic (verified owner)

I run these pedals on my mountain bike. I own several power meters including cranks from STAGES and SRAM, as well as Garmin pedals. These work every bit as good as the Garmin pedals, but cost significantly less. Moreover, the Garmin pedals will squeak at the cleats on occasion – these do not! They’re convenient and rechargable. They have a very high build quality. I am impressed with the design of this product. Cycling Dynamics is fully supported on compatible computers (such as Garmin).

  12. Joseph Smith (verified owner)

Have had these pedals a few weeks now with a couple hundred miles on them. No problems at all and very easy to set up. Love that they’re rechargeable and don’t have to swap out batteries. Seem very well made to hopefully provide many thousands of miles of use. Very fast shipping and follow through making sure there’s no issues with your product.

    • Power Meter City

Thank you for the great feedback, Joseph! We’re thrilled to hear you’re enjoying the pedals. Quality and durability are what we aim for, so we’re confident they’ll keep up for many thousands of miles. We’re also glad the shipping and follow-up met your expectations. 13. Taylor

Excellent pedals. Have ridden 1500 miles without a single issue.

    • Power Meter City

Good job! Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with!

  14. JJ (verified owner)

Great pedals so far, About 4 rides on them so over 100miles. I have them on my road bike. A bit less finicky than the Garmin XC200s. No need to calibrate every ride.
I like that they are rechargeable. App setup on android was easy. No problem pairing to my Garmin edge 130 Plus. I would need to upgrade that to see all of the metrics but fine for now. Better value currently than the XC200s. Both read about the same avg. power as far as I can tell. They also are lighter than the XC200s. Pedals were shipped quickly and I know the support is there if I need it. Very pleased

    • Power Meter City

Awesome! Good job, JJ! Glad you are enjoying your new pedals! We are here if there is anything else we can help you with!

  15. Mike Schmitz (verified owner)

easy install and setup, work great!

    • Power Meter City

Thank you so much for the review, Mike. Ride safe!

  16. austin (verified owner)

Excellent form factor, magnetic charger clips into the axle very positively. Platform is more supportive than my Shimano M540 which is great (shoe tread touches more of the pedal body above the axle). No problem with set up, integration into Garmin. Used it in a 100mi gravel race after a short break-in ride.

    • Power Meter City

Thanks for the detailed review, Austin! We’re glad these pedals are working well and gave you confidence to use them on a race after a short break in. Happy riding!

  17. Charles Pollick (verified owner)

Excellent pedals. But disappointed and surprised when powermetercity.com would not accept a return before I used them because I had opened the box to look at them (to do so I had to cut through the sticker that had the box sealed – they said that was the reason they wouldn’t accept the return – so be aware if you buy them – if you change your mind when you get them, then don’t open the box!). Also, there were only 2 screws for the cleats and there should have been four.

    • Power Meter City

Thanks for the detailed review, Charles. When it comes to returns, we must follow the manfuacturer’s guidelines. In order to reduce counterfit products in ciruclation and extend their warranty, Favero has made the decision to not allow returns once the seal is broken. We are happy to hear the pedals are working well and are here if you need anything else.

  18. Daniel (verified owner)

You can search the web for great reviews by DCR or GPLama if you want pretty graphs and a detailed breakdown on accuracy. From a simple user’s perspective, these pedals just work and let me use SPD cleats on my xc and gravel bikes. They connect reliably, clip in/out easily, and were readily set up in under 5 minutes. I like the lower stack height and weight compared to my previous Garmin Rallys and service parts are a lot cheaper.

    • Power Meter City

Thanks for the review, Daniel. We’re glad this power meter is working well for you and has been a good upgrade. We’re always happy to help in the future as well. Enjoy the ride!
