The first and only flat power meter pedal!
SRM X-Power Flat Power Meter Pedal
Introducing the SRM X-Power Flat Power Meter Pedal – the first and only flat power meter pedal! Featuring a wide, forged aluminum pedal body with pins for maximum grip, the SRM Flat Pedal is perfect for MTB, Enduro, E-Bike, Downhill or BMX riding.
The X-Power Flat Pedal uses high-quality sealing for protection against mud and water. In addition, the electronics and batteries are housed inside the pedal spindle, which protects them from the elements, crashes and rock strikes.
Installation and set-up are a breeze as no special tools are required. This also makes moving the power meter from bike to bike easy. The pedals feature true left/right power, ANT+ and Bluetooth and get 30 hours of run time out of the rechargeable lithium ion batteries. They come with a full 2-year warranty.
Key Product Details
Compatibility:
The SRM Flat Pedals are compatible with virtually any bike, but are best suited for MTB, Enduro, E-Bike, Downhill or BMX riding.

Overall, worth it if you care/have an application for these.
Coming back to review after most of a season. Took the plunge on these babies for power on a winter fat bike and an ebike. I found the cold weather performance impressive—they worked on winter fat bike rides in the Tetons. These rides were usually less than an hour, < 10 miles, temps around 10 º F. Unlike other devices I use in these conditions, these pedals did not die, and I did not have to perform extra charge cycles.
Then rode them extensively in desert, downhilling, and alpine e-bike adventure conditions. I usually ride Aeffects. I barely noticed these pedals in terms of ride feel. They are good, and I found them similar to the Aeffects, maybe slightly bigger and clunkier but not enough to annoy me.
About 4 months in one of them stopped working, and I suspect a friend fully submerged the bike in a creek crossing for a long period of time. I mailed it in and they turned it around in about a week, pretty good communication. Worked great after that. Generally, I got these wet a lot but have tried to avoid fully submerging them.
Four stars because the charging system sucks. I've been fastidious about cleaning the spindle contact surface, but the connection is glitchy right off the bat. They always do charge, but connecting the charge adapter to the spindle requires a bit of patience and wizardry. If they can overcome this one engineering problem, these things will be nearly perfect.
I have not gone deep on testing the power accuracy, nor have I noticed any aberrations or weird data, except when the one pedal broke this spring. I'll come back and write more once I geek out to that level.
