The NGeco is the newest model in the power2max line-up. With features such as dual leg power measurement, ANT+/Bluetooth SMART compatibility and left/right power balance, the power2max NGeco Race Face Next SL MTB Power Meter Crankset comes fully-loaded. In addition, the NGeco is accurate to +/- 2.0% in all environmental conditions and is easy to use with features such as auto-zero and accelerometer-based cadence measurement. In fact, there is no other power meter that provides dual-leg power measurement plus these other features at this price point!

 

Key Product Details

Compatibility:

This power2max crankset is compatible with 30 mm bottom brackets. Regarding chainrings, it requires a 104 BCD 4-bolt MTB chainring (which is different than the direct mount chainrings found on many Race Face MTB cranksets). If you don’t already have a 104 BCD 4-bolt chainring, we offer several to choose from. See Compatibility tab for more information.

Power Measurement:

The power2max power meter measures power at the spider and is therefore able to measure power from both legs.

This power meter is on the more expensive side since it ships with Race Face Next SL carbon crank arms. If it’s in your budget – we highly recommend it. power2max power meters measure power from both legs, are accurate and very reliable. In addition, these Race Face cranks are some of the lightest, strongest MTB cranks on the market. This is a very nice crankset.

 

Options For This Power Meter

Chainline and BCD: This power meter is available in the following chainline options:

• 1X Boost | 104 BCD
• 1X Standard | 104 BCD

The 1X Boost configuration is recommended if your bike currently has a direct mount chainring with a 3 mm offset (which is what most bikes have). These bikes usually feature 52 mm chainlines and 148 mm rear hubs. Please note this Boost version can also fit Super Boost bikes where you are replacing a 3 mm direct mount chainring.

The 1X Standard configuration is used for bikes that have a direct mount chainring with a 6 mm offset (usually found on older bikes). These bikes usually feature 49 mm chainlines and 142 mm rear hubs.

Crank arms: This power meter comes with Race Face Next SL Carbon crank arms. You have the option of the following crank arm sizes:

• 170 mm | 175 mm

 

Professional Assembly (Optional)

We are happy to professionally assemble your power meter crankset if you select this option when ordering. This ensures your crankset is correctly built and saves you time. Professional assembly includes:

• Mount the power meter to the cranks and tighten to factory specifications
• Apply multi-purpose bicycle grease where necessary
• Install chainrings on the power meter (if chainrings are ordered)
• Apply power2max decal

Please note – while we tighten everything to factory specs, it is still your responsibility to routinely check your power meter crankset to make sure all bolts and nuts remain securely fastened.
