The pm just works out of the box. Had to get new bolts to replace the exisiting chainring bolt on the carbon spider but fortunately my lbs had them in stock. Took less than a minute to pair to my wahoo bolt and it seems relatively accurate when benched against my wahoo kicked snap. It’s certainly more affordable than the quarq version and works the same.

Hi Jason. Thanks for the review of your power2max NGeco Specialized Road Power Meter. These units are great and have ended up on several bikes here. We hope you continue to enjoy it!

This is a great power meter. Very consistent readings and quick display of data to the head unit. It takes about 3 seconds to display the generated power, as noted by the time is takes to display zero once peddling stops, which seems very reasonable. Installation is fairly easy, The wave spider is replaced with this unit installed in its place. Be advised that the Park Tool BBT-18 will not removed the lock ring. The tool required is a slightly larger diameter and a proprietary tool from Specialized. After riding with the NGeco I can’t imagine training without a power meter.
