Favero Assioma PRO MX-2 MTB Power Meter Pedals
The Favero Assioma PRO MX-2 MTB Power Meter Pedals are one of our best-selling power meters and we believe a great choice for many riders. Featuring Shimano SPD cleats, this is a true MTB-style pedal. The MX-2 is easy to install, can be moved between bikes, measures power from both legs and is +/- 1.0% accurate.
Made from 6061-T6 aluminum, these pedals are designed to be lightweight at just 191.4 grams for the pair, while still robust enough for the toughest trails. In addition, the electronics and batteries are housed within the pedal which protects them from rock strikes and debris. They also have a rechargeable battery with 60-hour battery life and come with a full 2-year warranty.

easy install and setup, work great!

Excellent form factor, magnetic charger clips into the axle very positively. Platform is more supportive than my Shimano M540 which is great (shoe tread touches more of the pedal body above the axle). No problem with set up, integration into Garmin. Used it in a 100mi gravel race after a short break-in ride.

Thanks for the detailed review, Austin! We’re glad these pedals are working well and gave you confidence to use them on a race after a short break in. Happy riding!
Charles Pollick (verified owner) –
Excellent pedals. But disappointed and surprised when powermetercity.com would not accept a return before I used them because I had opened the box to look at them (to do so I had to cut through the sticker that had the box sealed – they said that was the reason they wouldn’t accept the return – so be aware if you buy them – if you change your mind when you get them, then don’t open the box!). Also, there were only 2 screws for the cleats and there should have been four.
Power Meter City –
Thanks for the detailed review, Charles. When it comes to returns, we must follow the manfuacturer’s guidelines. In order to reduce counterfit products in ciruclation and extend their warranty, Favero has made the decision to not allow returns once the seal is broken. We are happy to hear the pedals are working well and are here if you need anything else.

You can search the web for great reviews by DCR or GPLama if you want pretty graphs and a detailed breakdown on accuracy. From a simple user’s perspective, these pedals just work and let me use SPD cleats on my xc and gravel bikes. They connect reliably, clip in/out easily, and were readily set up in under 5 minutes. I like the lower stack height and weight compared to my previous Garmin Rallys and service parts are a lot cheaper.
Power Meter City –
Thanks for the review, Daniel. We’re glad this power meter is working well for you and has been a good upgrade. We’re always happy to help in the future as well. Enjoy the ride!
