Great question! Unfortunately the answer is no. Shimano changed the spline depth on the x100 series and therefore, an XT 8100 power meter won’t fit. Here are your two best power meter options:
Power Meter Pedals
MTB power meter pedals can be installed on any MTB crankset. We have both the Garmin Rally XC and the SRM X-Power.
Pros: Easy to install, works on any bike, can move from bike to bike, don’t have to change crankset
Crankset Power Meter
Of course, you can also choose to replace your crankset entirely for a new one. These cranksets are move expensive then a left or right side crank arm, but they measure power from both the left and right leg. They also come with a new set of chainrings.
Pros: Accurate, reliable, measures both legs
Cons: More expensive, more work to install
