Advice From Our Staff:
This is a great way to add power to a SRAM 3-bolt crankset. They measure power from both legs, are accurate and very reliable. We believe the price also represents a good value for what you get. We highly recommend power2max power meters and use them on many of our own bikes.
Options For This Power Meter
BCD: This power meter is available in the following BCDs in order to fit your choice of chainring sizes:
- 110 5-Bolt | 130 5-Bolt | 110 4-Bolt
Other Versions to Consider
Upgraded SRAM NG Version: While the NGeco you are viewing on this page is our go-to version for most cyclists, please note we also have the upgraded power2max NG SRAM Road Power Meter. The NG features slightly better accuracy, a rechargeable battery, a longer warranty and some additional training metrics.
Cranksets: The power2max NGeco SRAM Road Power Meter is compatible with SRAM S-900, Force 1, Force 22, Rival 1, Rival 22 and CX1 cranks with a 3-bolt interface. This power meter does NOT fit Cane Creek eeWing cranks.
Chainrings: This power meter is compatible with 110 BCD 5-bolt, 130 BCD 5-bolt or 110 BCD 4-bolt chainrings based on the version ordered. In many cases, you can use your existing chainrings assuming they use the same configuration as the power meter you order.
- Note 1 - Please note, the 110 BCD 4-Bolt version is compatible with all Shimano 4-bolt chainrings, including Ultegra 8100 and DURA-ACE 9200 chainrings.
- Note 2 - Some SRAM cranksets come equipped with direct mount chainrings. In this case, you will need to purchase new chainrings as direct mount chainrings won't work with a power meter spider. We have several chainrings to choose from on our Chainrings page.
- Note 3 - This power meter is not compatible with SRAM Red cranksets or SRAM 1X 40T chainrings (however we do sell Praxis 1X 40T chainrings that will work).
What is BCD?: BCD (bolt circle diameter) is simply the diameter of a circle that passes through the centers of the bolt holes in your chainring. The BCD is usually stamped right on the chainring as either 110 or 130. It is important to know what BCD your crankset is because assuming you want to use your existing chainrings on your new power meter, you need to order the correct BCD.

My first powermeter was an SRM which I now transferred to my other road bike. It was super accurate and “just worked”, I never had any problems using it for 8 years. I have tried other meters which didn’t quite measured up to standards, until this power2max NGeco SRAM Road. This meter is easy to install, very accurate, and works every time. Also, Its cheaper than Quarq offerings and offering about the same qualities: autozero, bluetooth and ant+, but without the need to swap to an new bottom bracket standard (DUB). I 100% recommend this. Don’t waste your money on other meters, this is all you need right here.

Excellent service and product from PMC. Josh and team are super responsive, went through extra measures to make sure the PM was compatible with my bike a I’m loving the PM itself. Just completed my first race (Barry Roubaix 62 mile gravel race) with the PM installed and it was so nice to have the power data available in order to pace myself as needed for this endurance event!
