We highly recommend power2max power meters and use them on many of our own bikes.
Options For This Power Meter
Crank arms: You have the option of either ROTOR ALDHU 24 mm crank arms (uses a 24 mm spindle) or ALHDU 30 mm crank arms (uses a 30 mm spindle). In addition, each of these cranks comes in a wide range of crank arm lengths.
Please note – this power meter ships with a Black decal. Please let us know if you would like us to include a different color instead (Red, Blue, White, Green).
Other Versions to Consider
Upgraded NG Version: While the NGeco you are viewing on this page is our go-to version for most cyclists, please note we also have the upgraded power2max NG ROTOR ALDHU Track Power Meter Crankset. The NG features slightly better accuracy, a rechargeable battery, a longer warranty and some additional training metrics.
Carbon NGeco Version: We also have the power2max NGeco ROTOR ALDHU Carbon Track Power Meter Crankset which features ROTOR carbon crank arms. This version is more expensive, but it is lighter and stiffer. Please note, the carbon version ONLY comes in a 30 mm spindle size.
Budget Friendly p2m Edition Crank Arm Version: We also sell the power2max NGeco ROTOR p2m Edition Track Power Meter Crankset which comes with more budget friendly crank arms. The finish on the p2m Edition arms is not quite as nice and they are about 40 grams heavier.
Professional Assembly (Optional)
We are happy to professionally assemble your power meter crankset if you select this option when ordering. This ensures your crankset is correctly built and saves you time. Professional assembly includes:
- Mount the power meter to the cranks and tighten to factory specifications
- Apply multi-purpose bicycle grease where necessary
- Install chainrings on the power meter (if chainrings are ordered)
- Apply power2max decal
Please note – while we tighten everything to factory specs, it is still your responsibility to routinely check your power meter crankset to make sure all bolts and nuts remain securely fastened.
Compatibility
Chainrings: This power meter is compatible with 144 BCD 5-bolt track chainrings. Please also note, the power meter requires threaded chainring bolts.
Bottom Bracket: This power meter fits 24 MM or 30 MM bottom brackets, depending on the version ordered.
IMPORTANT - Although this power meter is designed to be used on the track, it uses a ROTOR ALDHU/VEGAST road spindle and therefore requires the use of a road bottom bracket for proper fitment.

Common Questions and Answers
Question: How do I determine what length my current cranks are so I can make sure I get the same size?
- Your crank arm length should be printed or stamped on the inside of the left crank arm, usually near the pedal end.
Louisa Kelly (verified owner) –
I purchased this for my track bike. I considered a few other options but settled on the Power2max for the price point, good reviews, ease of use and crank options, oh and the color decal that perfectly matches my frame 🙂
The ngEco works flawlessly. It pairs every time to my Wahoo, and the data, as least as far as my coach and I can tell, is spot on for reliably and consistently monitoring my workouts. Very happy and would purchase a Power2max again.
