Advice From Our Staff:
This is our best-selling track power meter crankset. This power2max power meter measures power from both legs, is accurate and reliable. The ROTOR ALDHU crank arms are strong and lightweight. In addition, this NG version raises the bar even further with improved accuracy, additional training metrics, a longer warranty and more. It’s also more expensive. If it’s within your budget, we highly recommend it.
Options For This Power Meter
Crank arms: You have the option of either ROTOR ALDHU 24 mm crank arms (uses a 24 mm spindle) or ALHDU 30 mm crank arms (uses a 30 mm spindle). In addition, each of these cranks comes in a wide range of crank arm lengths.
Please note – this power meter ships with a Black decal. Please let us know if you would like us to include a different color instead (Red, Blue, White, Green).
Other Versions to Consider
NGeco Version: While the NG version you are viewing here features slightly better accuracy, a rechargeable battery, a longer warranty and some additional training metrics, we also sell the more affordable power2max NGeco ROTOR ALDHU Track Power Meter Crankset version.
Carbon NG Version: We also have the power2max NG ROTOR ALDHU Carbon Track Power Meter Crankset which features ROTOR carbon crank arms. This version is more expensive, but it is lighter and stiffer. Please note, the carbon version ONLY comes in a 30 mm spindle size.
Professional Assembly (Optional)
We are happy to professionally assemble your power meter crankset if you select this option when ordering. This ensures your crankset is correctly built and saves you time. Professional assembly includes:
- Mount the power meter to the cranks and tighten to factory specifications
- Apply multi-purpose bicycle grease where necessary
- Install chainrings on the power meter (if chainrings are ordered)
- Apply power2max decal
Please note – while we tighten everything to factory specs, it is still your responsibility to routinely check your power meter crankset to make sure all bolts and nuts remain securely fastened.
Compatibility
Chainrings: This power meter is compatible with 144 BCD 5-bolt track chainrings. Please also note, the power meter requires threaded chainring bolts.
Bottom Bracket: This power meter fits 24 MM or 30 MM bottom brackets, depending on the version ordered.
IMPORTANT - Although this power meter is designed to be used on the track, it uses a ROTOR ALDHU/VEGAST road spindle and therefore requires the use of a road bottom bracket for proper fitment.

Common Questions and Answers
Question: How do I determine what length my current cranks are so I can make sure I get the same size?
- Your crank arm length should be printed or stamped on the inside of the left crank arm, usually near the pedal end.
Sean Tulley (verified owner) –
I have about 3 training day on this crank/power meter set-up. The cranks are beefy. I’m a fan of the PM spider. Bonus points for having tapped female threads for the chainring bolts, eliminating the need for the back half of the chainring bolt pair. Slick charging port that utilizes a magnetic connection, similar to a MacBook charger, with a standard USB-A on the other end. I’ve previously had a crank-arm based PM (Stages) that seemed to eat batteries, and have tried pedal based PM on the track (Assioma) but they increased the Q-factor and were not my preferred pedal for the track. A hub-based PM did not seem practical for the track, with the necessity of frequent wheel changes, while SRM seemed to be about 50% more $$$. Very happy with this solution…and Dave from customer service was top-shelf…easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and was quick to find answers that he didn’t immediately have. Would highly recommend.
