Key Product Details
This power meter fits 24 MM bottom road brackets and 144 BCD 5-bolt chainrings. See Compatibility tab for more information.
ROTOR p2m Edition vs. ROTOR ALDHU 24 MM
We offer this power meter with both ROTOR power2max Edition (what you are viewing now) and ROTOR ALDHU crank arms. These crank arms work and fit the same, however power2max Edition is a slightly more budget friendly version of the ROTOR ALDHU version. The slightly more expensive ALDHU version has a nicer finish and they are about 40 grams lighter.
The power2max power meter measures power at the spider and is therefore able to measure power from both legs.
Dual-leg power measurement, accurate to +/- 2.0%, 300-400 hours of battery life, CR2450 user-replaceable battery, left/right power balance with system upgrade, ANT+ and Bluetooth compatibility, auto-zero (automatic calibration). See Specs tab for more information.
Advice From Our Staff:
This is one of our best-selling road power meters, slightly behind the ROTOR ADLHU version. It measures power from both legs, is accurate and very reliable. We believe the price also represents a good value for what you get. We highly recommend power2max power meters and use them on many of our own bikes.
Options For This Power Meter
Crank arms: You can get this crankset in the following crank arm lengths:
- 165 mm | 170 mm | 172.5 mm | 175 mm
Please note – this power meter ships with a Black decal. Please let us know if you would like us to include a different color instead (Red, Blue, White, Green).
Other Versions to Consider
Aluminum NGeco Version: We also have the power2max NGeco ROTOR ALDHU Track Power Meter Crankset which features ROTOR aluminum crank arms. This version is more expensive, but the aluminum crank arms are nicer (about 40 grams lighter, nicer finish and stiffer).
Professional Assembly (Optional)
We are happy to professionally assemble your power meter crankset if you select this option when ordering. This ensures your crankset is correctly built and saves you time. Professional assembly includes:
- Mount the power meter to the cranks and tighten to factory specifications
- Apply multi-purpose bicycle grease where necessary
- Install chainrings on the power meter (if chainrings are ordered)
- Apply power2max decal
Please note – while we tighten everything to factory specs, it is still your responsibility to routinely check your power meter crankset to make sure all bolts and nuts remain securely fastened.
Chainrings: This power meter is compatible with 144 BCD 5-bolt track chainrings. Please also note, the power meter requires threaded chainring bolts.
Bottom Bracket: This power meter uses a 24 mm Shimano road spindle and must be used with a 24 mm Shimano bottom bracket.
IMPORTANT - Although this power meter is designed to be used on the track, it uses a ROTOR ALDHU/VEGAST road spindle and therefore requires the use of a road bottom bracket for proper fitment.

Common Questions and Answers
Question: How do I determine what length my current cranks are so I can make sure I get the same size?
