Power Measurement:

The power2max power meter measures power at the spider and is therefore able to measure power from both legs.

Key Features:

Dual-leg power measurement, carbon fiber crank arms, accurate to +/- 2.0%, 300-400 hours of battery life, CR2450 user-replaceable battery, left/right power balance with system upgrade, ANT+ and Bluetooth compatibility, auto-zero (automatic calibration). See Specs tab for more information.

Advice From Our Staff:

This is one of our favorite gravel power meters. From a power meter standpoint, the power2max measures power from both legs, is reliable and accurate. In addition, you get a Praxis Zayante Carbon crankset which is stiff, lightweight and performs great. It’s a wonderful combination. Just make sure you have a Praxis M30 bottom bracket on your bike as the Zayante uses a 30 mm/28 mm tapered spindle.

Common Questions and Answers

Question: Can I use this power2max Gravel power meter on a Shimano road drivetrain?

  • Great question! This power2max Gravel power meter features a GRX 47 mm chainline. This is wider than the 44 mm chainlines used on Shimano road drivetrains such as 105, Ultegra and DURA-ACE. However, the chainline on this gravel crankset can be converted to the narrower 44 mm road chainline by use of a power2max MTB Adapter Plate. The adapter plate is placed between the power meter and the gravel chainring, which moves the chainring closer to the bike and gives you a Shimano road chainline.

Question: How do I determine what length my current cranks are so I can make sure I get the same size?

  • Your crank arm length should be printed or stamped on the inside of the left crank arm, usually near the pedal end.
