LOOK KEO BLADE CERAMIC Vision Road Pedals

The LOOK KEO BLADE CERAMIC Vision Road Pedals combine aerodynamic design with integrated lighting to boost performance and safety. The redesigned blade integrates fully into the pedal body to reduce drag and deliver class leading aerodynamics. Despite the added light system, each pedal weighs just 135 grams including the body, blade and light.

LOOK completely reworked the spindle to improve efficiency. The spindle runs through internal roller bearings and ceramic bearings placed directly under the pedal platform. This layout reduces friction and can save an estimated two watts at 100 rpm.

A wide 64 mm stainless steel contact plate stabilizes the cleat interface across all pedaling angles. The large 705 mm² contact area maximizes support and transfers power efficiently to the drivetrain.

LOOK Blade Tension Options

These pedals use a carbon blade as a retention mechanism instead of a spring that is found on most other road pedals. This provides a different entry and release feeling than pedals with a spring mechanism. Their road pedals are available with 8, 12 or 16 Nm blades. The higher newton meter blades make it harder to enter and exit the pedal, but also hold your cleat more securely.
