Favero Assioma PRO RS-1 Road Power Meter Pedals
The Favero Assioma PRO RS-1 Road Power Meter Pedals bring Favero’s latest PRO spindle technology to the road! Unlike the DUO and UNO models that rely on external pods, the new RS-1 pedals feature a podless design that reduces weight, protects internal electronics and delivers a cleaner look. Built around the Shimano SPD-SL cleat system, these pedals are not only durable and highly accurate, they’re also the lightest single-sided road power meter pedals on the market at just 246 grams for both pedals.
The RS-1 power meter pedals feature a 53 mm Q-Factor and a 10.5 mm stack height which is very much on par with a standard road pedal. They are also easy to install and can be moved between bikes. This is great for riders who have multiple bikes but only want to purchase one power meter.
Additionally, the PRO RS power meter pedals are +/- 1.0% accurate and provide advanced metrics like Power Phase, Pedal Smoothness, Torque Effectiveness and Platform Center Offset (PCO). They have a rechargeable battery with up to 160 hours of battery life and come with a full 2-year warranty.

Advice From Our Staff
Favero continues to produce accurate, reliable, lightweight and good-looking power meter pedals. The PRO RS pedals use the same technology as the PRO MX mountain bike pedals which have been one of our top-selling power meters. Because these are single-sided power meter pedals, they are also very affordable. If you are looking for a road power meter pedal for Shimano SPD-SL cleats, the RS-1 checks every box you could want in a power meter pedal.

I was in the market for a power meter to take structured training outdoors, to understand the true power zone I was in. Additionally, I was not sure what brand to go with or what style, with so many on the market. I started to lean towards pedals that could grow with me to my next bike when I get one. But also wanted to remain with my current SPD-SL cleats. Favero had great reviews on their pedals and I decided to go with them. I came to PMC for my order; the process was easy, shipping was fast, and price was comparable. Install was simple, with the only issue being to calibrate them to my old Garmin Edge. This was quickly resolved by removing my old speed/cadence meters and moving away from other cycling Bluetooth devices. They quickly connect every time. Although I wish these were cheaper to get, thus, allowing me to get both sides, the ability to see my power is invaluable. If you’re like me and were unsure about buying, I highly recommend the pedal option, Favero brand, and PMC.

Recently purchased Favero Pro RS-1 pedals. Installed on 2025 Cannondale super six EVO, received quickly, well packaged and easy installation, connected right to Wahoo element.
pedals same weight as Ultegra pedals. Nice to have accurate power. Might upgrade to right side pedal for dual readings.

Installation, initial registration, charging, firmware update, calibration and pairing to my Garmin Edge 130+ were all smooth and easy. Looks and feels just like the Dura-Ace pedals they replaced. Only have 100 miles on the Assiomo Pro RS-1, but have had no dropouts, squeaks or other problems. Even the packaging shows that Favero pays attention to detail and offers a quality product.

Easy to install, easy to charge, easy to pair to my Garmin Fenix. App works great too. Somehow it’s easier to click in the first time with these compared to the Shimano PD-R550. Overall very happy with this investment.

Works great. Simple install with wrench (plenty of space for standard wrench even). Highly recommend if you want Shimano cleats (also have a pair of the Favero with Look cleats and they work fantastic for years)
Power Meter City –
Glad to hear it’s working great and the install was straightforward! Thanks for recommending it, especially for Shimano cleats. We’re happy you’re enjoying both Favero options!
