SRAM Road/CX HRD Disc Brake Pads
SRAM Road/CX HRD Disc Brake Pads are designed for smooth and consistent braking. They use a steel backing which provides reliability and stability under heavy braking. These brake pads are made for SRAM HRD (hydraulic road disc) brake systems and monoblock calipers. Each set includes two pads, a pad spring, pin and clip.
Organic vs. Sintered Pad Compound
SRAM offers organic and sintered brake pad compounds for their brake pads. The organic compound is designed to be quieter and offer better brake modulation, but is slightly less powerful. The sintered version offers more stopping power and performs better in the wet, but can be louder. We recommend considering your riding style and environment when deciding which brake pad compound is best for you. If you live somewhere like the Pacific Northwest and ride long descents, we recommend the sintered compound. If you live in a drier climate and have rolling terrain, we recommend the organic compound.
Compatibility
These brake pads will fit the following brake systems:
Road: SRAM Red 22, Force 22, Rival 22, Force 1, Rival 1, CX1, S-700
MTB: SRAM Level Ultimate, Level TLM
They are not compatible with 12-speed SRAM AXS brakes.
