Sigeyi AXO Cane Creek eeWings 3-Bolt Road Power Meter
The Sigeyi AXO Cane Creek eeWings 3-Bolt Road Power Meter is a spider-based power meter that is compatible with Cane Creek eeWings 3-bolt road cranksets. The Sigeyi AXO SL improves upon the previous generation AXO by reducing weight to well below 100 grams! In addition, it improves compatibility, is stiffer than its predecessor and can now deliver pedaling smoothness data.
All Sigeyi power meters measure power from both legs, are accurate to +/- 1.0% and are very lightweight. Moreover, it can easily bolt up to your existing eeWings crankset which means there is no need to buy new cranks or replace your bottom bracket.
This Sigeyi AXO Cane Creek eeWings 3-Bolt Road Power Meter also features a rechargeable battery with 300 hours of ride time, auto-zero functionality (so your data is always accurate), left and right leg power balance and a 2-year manufacturers warranty. Of course, you also get Bluetooth Smart. This allows you to use the power meter with your favorite indoor training program or app.
Sigeyi AXO SL vs. AXO
The AXO SL is the latest version of the AXO power meter from Sigeyi. Please note the new SL is only available in a 110 4-Bolt BCD.
- New Pedal Smoothness Feature: The SL can provide pedal smoothness metrics, helping riders even out their pedal stroke.
- Reduced Weight: This new version is astonishingly lightweight, dropping the mass of the power meter spider from 105 grams to 80 grams.
- Improved Stiffness: Despite the reduced weight, the AXO SL is 8% stiffer laterally and 10% stiffer torsionally. This means power transfer to the bike is improved.
- Reduced Volume: The total volume of the spider has been reduced by 35%, with a larger rear opening to improve compatibility with T47 bottom brackets. In addition the front surface is now flat, allowing for use of covers to complete an OEM look.
The features that made the Sigeyi AXO Cane Creek eeWings such a great power meter spider have been kept, such as +/- 1.0% accuracy, auto-zero calibration, active temperature compensation and more.

Wanted to purchase a more k own brand, but SRM amd Power2Max were both not available and a bit pricey.
PMC took (a lot) time to talk me through their vetting and experience with this company’s products and convinced me to give it a shot for a fraction of the price of the aforementioned options.
Ordered it – shipping was quick and great customer service.
Installation was easy and app set-up/connection was easy. Have ridden it for about a month with minimal issues. Always calibrated, holds a charge.
4 stars because I occasionally look down amd power reads 0, but comes back within a few seconds. It happens rarely enough to where I’m not concerned about it.
Happy to find an option that is 80% less than SRM and so far probably provides about 90% of the functionality.

Easy to set up, no dropouts with my Garmin 540 after a few weeks of riding, seemingly consistent data without spikes. The basic summary is that it is an affordable and rechargeable power meter that works.
I have not tested this with power pedals or on a trainer to see if the offset needs to be adjusted, but that is an option if the accuracy is of the utmost importance. In getting shorter cranks and switching to oval chainrings, my power went down for a bit but has since climbed to new records as I relearn how to pedal. So I think that this power meter is in the right ballpark and has been instrumental in getting feedback on how to improve my pedal stroke.

Thanks for the detailed review, Peter! We’re glad this power meter is working well for you, that’s a sweet setup. Happy riding!
