Advice From Our Staff:
The XCADEY XPOWER-S GEN2 Praxis DOON Carbon Road Power Meter Crankset is perfect for riders looking for an affordable and lightweight crankset. The XPOWER-S GEN2 power meter provides most modern features, but we note that it does not have automatic calibration. That being said, this crankset offers road cyclists a great value for a power meter crankset.
Options For This Power Meter
Crank arms: The Praxis DOON carbon crank arms come in the following sizes:
- 165 mm | 170 mm | 172.5 mm | 175 mm
Professional Assembly (Optional)
We are happy to professionally assemble your power meter crankset if you select this option when ordering. This ensures your crankset is correctly built and saves you time. Professional assembly includes:
- Mount the power meter to the cranks and tighten to factory specifications
- Apply multi-purpose bicycle grease where necessary
- Install chainrings on the power meter (if chainrings are ordered)
Please note – while we tighten everything to factory specs, it is still your responsibility to routinely check your power meter crankset to make sure all bolts and nuts remain securely fastened.
Compatibility
Cranksets: The XCADEY Praxis DOON Carbon Road Power Meter is compatible with SRAM S-900, Force 1, Force 22, Rival 1, Rival 22 and CX1 cranks with a 3-bolt interface. This power meter does NOT fit Cane Creek eeWing cranks.
Chainrings: This power meter is compatible with 110 BCD 5-bolt hidden bolt chainrings. With a hidden bolt chainring, the chain catch pin is aligned with a chainring bolt (please see image below). Many chainrings have a moveable catch pin, which allows you to move the catch pin into the correct position. If your current chainring is not compatible, we recommend the Praxis Works Buzz Road Chainrings or SRAM X-Glide 2x 11-Speed Road Chainrings which have a movable catch pin and is compatible with this XCADEY power meter.
Bottom Bracket:Â This power meter crankset fits 30 mm bottom brackets. If you currently have a crankset that uses a 30 mm spindle, you should be able to re-use your existing bottom bracket. However, if you are changing spindle sizes, you will need to replace your bottom bracket.
What is BCD?: BCD (bolt circle diameter) is simply the diameter of a circle that passes through the centers of the bolt holes in your chainring. The BCD is usually stamped right on the chainring as either 110 or 130. It is important to know what BCD your crankset is because assuming you want to use your existing chainrings on your new power meter, you need to order the correct BCD.
