Advice From Our Staff:
The XCADEY XPOWER-S GEN2 Cannondale power meter is a great way to add power to your Cannondale road crankset. There are limited number of power meters available for Cannondale and this is an affordable, lightweight power meter that measures power from both legs. In addition, since it bolts on to your existing crankset, there is no need to buy new cranks or change bottom brackets.
Compatibility
Cranksets: The XCADEY Cannondale Road Power Meter is compatible with all models of Cannondale’s Hollowgram cranks: SI, SISL, and SISL2. It is also compatible with the Cannondale One crankset.
Chainrings: This power meter is compatible with 110 BCD 5-bolt chainrings.
Please note, some Cannondale cranksets come equipped 120 BCD chainrings or with direct mount chainrings (spiderings). In these cases, you will need to purchase a new 5-bolt chainring for use with your power meter. We have several to choose from on our Chainrings page.
What is BCD?: BCD (bolt circle diameter) is simply the diameter of a circle that passes through the centers of the bolt holes in your chainring. The BCD is usually stamped right on the chainring as either 110 or 130. It is important to know what BCD your crankset is because assuming you want to use your existing chainrings on your new power meter, you need to order the correct BCD.

Marques Nielson (verified owner) –
I have only had the power meter a short while, but I thought I would share my experience anyway. Long story short, a FSA 34T inner chainring doesn’t fit on the spider. That being said, Power Meter City was quick to respond to my initial questions and shipping was fast once I placed my order. The power meter looks to be of good quality and the the install was uneventful, with the exception of the 34T inner chainring not fitting. It is a fairly standard FSA chainring, but it just doesn’t clear the recesses cut into the inside of the spider. I swapped to my 36 tooth inner chainring of the same brand and everything bolted up according to plan. Things calibrated just fine and the power numbers it gives me are close to what my smart trainer spits out. I prefer 50/34 for the hills I climb, but I guess I’ll have to make due with 52/36 when running this power meter (let me know if I’m wrong guys!).
Power Meter City –
Thanks for sharing your experience, Marques! We’re glad to hear the installation went smoothly overall and that the power meter is working well with your setup. Sorry to hear about the fit issue with the 34T. That said, we’re always happy to help! And it’s great that the 36T worked out as a solid alternative. If you ever want to revisit the 50/34 setup, feel free to reach out – we’re here to help find the best possible fit! Ride safe!
