The SRM PM9 Origin 8-Bolt Road/Gravel Power Meter delivers precise and reliable power data using SRM’s latest electronics platform. It uses the PM9 system with claimed accuracy of ±1% and fast data sampling for consistent real time feedback. SRM applies a 144 point calibration process to ensure outstanding accuracy and repeatable performance across all riding conditions.

A rechargeable battery offers long runtime and charges via a magnetic connector for easy use. The unit supports both ANT+ and Bluetooth connectivity for seamless pairing with head units and training apps. SRM also includes temperature compensation to maintain accuracy in changing conditions. The CNC-machined aluminum spider ensures durability while keeping weight low for performance riding. This spider is compatible with 8-bolt cranksets and 110 x 4 BCD chainrings.

The SRM power meter is a spider-based power meter and is therefore able to measure power from both legs.

Compatibility

This SRM power meter is compatible with SRAM RED/Force/Rival E1 and E1 XPLR, along with the majority of SRAM and Quarq 8-bolt cranksets. Please note this is not compatible with pre-DUB 8-bolt crank arms. Regarding chainrings, it fits 110 BCD 4-bolt chainrings. See the Compatibility tab for more information.

Considerations

Like all spider-based power meters with this functionality, the PM9 Origin provides estimated power balance data. While this estimation is highly accurate, it’s not true left-right power balance like the data recorded by dual-sided power meter pedals.
