SRAM XX Eagle AXS Transmission Power Meter Spider
The SRAM XX Eagle AXS Transmission Power Meter Spider is SRAM’s newest, most accurate mountain bike power meter. Compatible with SRAM XX and X0 Eagle Transmission Cranksets, this dual-sided power meter is ready to take your training and racing to the next level!
The XX Eagle AXS T-Type Power Meter uses an all-new spider-based design with a proprietary thread-on chainring mount system. This thread mount system allows for a lighter, easier to use power meter. The power meter also comes loaded with features such as MagicZero, 10K Temperature compensation and is fully compatible with Flight Attendant.
The power meter gets 200 hours of battery life on a single CR2032 battery and comes with a full 2-year warranty. It fits chainring sizes from 32T – 38T.
Key Product Details
Compatibility:
This power meter is compatible with the SRAM XX Eagle SL Transmission Crankset for both 52 mm and 55 mm chainline bikes, as well as the SRAM XX, X0 and GX Eagle Transmission Cranksets for 55 mm chainline bikes. See Compatibility tab for more information.
Power Measurement:
This SRAM XX Eagle AXS Power Meter measures power at the spider and is therefore able to measure power from both legs.
Key Features:
Dual-leg power measurement, accurate to +/- 1.5%, 200 hours of battery life, CR2032 user-replaceable battery, left/right power balance, ANT+ and Bluetooth compatibility, auto-zero (automatic calibration). See Specs tab for more information.
Advice From Our Staff:
If you have a SRAM XX or X0 T-Type crankset, this is the power meter we recommend for it. It offers dual-leg power measurement, +/- 1.5% accuracy and SRAM’s proven spider-based design. The one thing to note is the smallest chainring you can run is 32T. If you need a 30T for example, we recommend the SRAM XX or X0 Eagle AXS T-Type Left Arm Power Meter. Those only measure left side power but allow you to run a 30T ring.
SRAM XX Eagle T-Type Power Meter Options
Chainring Size: You can purchase the power meter with or without chainrings. Available sizes are:
- 32T | 34T | 36T | 38T
Chainring Offset: The chainring also comes in two different offsets:
- 0 MM | 3 MM
Please see Compatibility tab for more information.
Other Versions to Consider
XX/X0 Eagle AXS T-Type Left Arm Power Meters: We also sell the SRAM XX Eagle AXS T-Type Left Arm Spindle Power Meter as well as the SRAM X0 Eagle AXS T-Type Left Arm Spindle Power Meter. These power meters only measure left side power, however they are quick and easy to install and they allow you to run chainrings as small as 30T.
Compatibility
- Crankset: This power meter is compatible with SRAM XX Eagle SL, SRAM XX Eagle, SRAM X0, and SRAM GX Eagle Transmission Cranksets.
- Chainrings: This power meter uses a SRAM XX SL Eagle Transmission Thread Mount Chainring, which you can order on this page along with the power meter.
-> Please see the Questions tab for help determining the correct chainring offset.

I recently purchased a Canyon Lux with the new SRAM GX transmission and was looking for a power meter to add. Dave from Power Meter City was very helpful in giving me options and navigating the installation concerns. Some threads say that this power meter spindle does not fit the GX cranks correctly, but I had no problems. Installation was easy, and it is working great. It has good dual-side readouts.

Thanks for the great review, Eric! We’re glad to hear the power meter paired well with your new Canyon Lux and GX Transmission—sounds like an awesome setup! Huge shoutout to Dave for helping out with the installation questions. We’re happy everything went smoothly and that you’re getting solid dual-side data. Ride on and enjoy the trails! Ride safe!

Exactly what I was looking for! It’s good to see SRAM got it right from the start with the transmission. Specifically, the ability to adapt power meters to most of the transmission group sets after the fact. Since all the cranks are 8 bolt, this power meter upgraded my existing XX SL groupset to a power meter. Seamless design and easy install. Also great service and support from power meter city! All questions asked were answered expeditiously! Thank you!
Power Meter City –
Always happy to help here, AJ. We are delighted you liked your new SRAM spider! We hope you will continue to enjoy them! Ride safe!
