The SRAM Force E1 AXS Hydraulic Shift-Brake Levers with Calipers, made for flat mount disc brakes, have been updated to provide smooth, consistent and powerful braking. The redesigned lever is made from carbon fiber and now allows for true one-finger braking. In addition, the hood design now fits a wider range of hands and provides better finger wrap which reduces fatigue on long rides.

Featuring SRAM’s award-winning eTap shift logic, you can also easily customize the shifting sequences of your Force E1 brake levers. With a new Bonus Button on the inside of each brake hood, you can even shift from the tops of the hoods without needing to reach down for the shift paddle. These brakes also feature Reach Adjust so you can adjust your reach to best fit your hands. In addition, the brake caliper has been redesigned to offer additional pad clearance and eliminate rotor rub. These brakes also now use SRAM’s Bleeding Edge technology which makes maintenance a breeze.

Considerations

These SRAM Force E1 brakes are SRAM’s mid-tier offering. This means some riders may prefer the RED E1 version which is even lighter or the Rival E1 version which is more affordable, but heavier and does not include the Bonus Buttons.
