SRAM RED E1 AXS Shift-Brake Levers with Calipers. Flat Mount

The SRAM RED E1 AXS Shift-Brake Levers with Calipers, made for flat mount disc brakes provide smooth and powerful braking from anywhere on your handlebar. The redesigned lever now allows for true one-finger braking, allowing you to brake from the hoods or the drops. In addition, the updated hood design now fits a wider range of hands and provides better finger wrap which reduces fatigue on long rides.

Featuring SRAM’s award-winning eTap shift logic, you can also easily customize the shifting sequences of your levers. With a Bonus Button on the inside of each lever, you can even shift from the tops of the hoods without needing to reach down for the shift paddle. With Contact Point Adjustment and Reach Adjust you can also adjust your reach exactly to your liking. The brake caliper has also been made lighter and more powerful, while still providing plenty of pad clearance to eliminate rotor rub.

Bonus Buttons
Shift from the tops of the hoods with Bonus Buttons on the inside of each lever. You can also remap using these SRAM AXS App for different commands, similar to SRAM Blips.

Contact Point Adjustment
With Contact Point Adjust, you can pick the exact position you want your fingers to be in when your brakes are engaged. This makes it simple and easy to customize the feel of your brakes without having to adjust the pads.

Reach Adjust
Reach Adjust makes it easy to adjust your lever for maximum one-finger control for everyone.

eTAP
Right lever makes it harder, left lever makes it easier both levers shift the front derailleur. Simple, unmistakable, and intuitive.

Bleeding Edge
With this new caliper fluid circuitry, the bleed port has been moved to the bottom of the caliper. The result is an easier, more consistent bleed.

AXS
AXS is SRAM’s new bike component integration system that connects electronic bicycle components and software. The SRAM AXS app allows riders to see battery status, change component behavior, personalize controls, get maintenance reminders, and update firmware.
