About the ROTOR 2INpower MAS Crankset Power Meter

The ROTOR 2INpower MAS Crankset power Meter shares all of the same features as the standard, best-selling 2INpower. It measures independent left/right power, has Bluetooth SMART functionality, a built-in rechargeable battery and uses ROTOR’s Universal Bottom Bracket, making it compatible with almost every bike frame on the market.

However with the ROTOR 2INpower MAS power meter, ROTOR has replaced their standard 5-bolt spider with their proprietary Micro Adjust Spider (MAS). The MAS offers several advantages over the regular spider. First and foremost, ROTOR’s MAS allows you adjust your Q-Ring position with a higher level of precision. This allows you to dial-in your pedal stroke so you can best take advantage of your Q-Rings and ensure maximum pedal efficiency and power. In addition, the MAS offers increased stiffness which leads to better shifting as well as features improved aerodynamics. For most cyclists, these benefits more than overcome the additional 20-30 grams the MAS adds over the regular spider.

ROTOR 2INpower Options

The 2INpower MAS is available in the following crank arm lengths: 165 mm | 170 mm | 172.5 mm | 175 mm

2INpower is equipped with a 30 mm Universal Bottom Bracket (UBB) system. UBB30 is compatible with almost all standard frames in the market (when used with the correct spacers). ROTOR 2INpower can be installed on your bike even if your current cranks are 24 mm diameter.

Specifically, UBB30 is compatible with the following standards: BB30 (68/73 mm), PF30 (68/73 mm), BSA threaded, ITA threaded, BBright and BBright Direct Fit, BB86, BB386 EVO, BB89 and BB92.

The only frames not compatible with the UBB30 system are BB90 and BB95 (both for 24 mm diameter axle).

I’ve purchased 2 of these power meters from Power Meter City. They have been absolutely flawless and much better then Rotor ‘s 1st generation power meter. PMC’s customer service was awesome. I had a problem with the first power meters batt cover (self induced) and they responded very quickly and got me a new cover at no charge. I will definitely do business with them when I need any other power related accessories.

Hi Michael. Thank for your review and for being a great customer! We agree…the 2INpower is a huge improvement over the INpower and is on a couple of our bikes here. Let us know if any questions arise on it and we would be happy to help. Thanks again!

I purchased a Rotor 2INpower Aero Crankset. Powermetercity didn’t have my length crank in stock, so it took a day or two longer – they gave me a 10% discount for my troubles (which was really no trouble at all). Excellent product and excellent customer service.
