It supports turn by turn mapping, GPX route import, route creation and destination selection through the Magene app. In addition, offline rerouting, Back to Start and waypoint navigation help riders stay on course without relying on a phone. Multi scenario ClimbPro can identify climbs from imported routes and activate if riders join a climb midway through the ascent.

The Magene C606 Pro Bike Computer also supports Strava Live Segments, structured workouts and smart trainer control. When paired with compatible power meters, it can display advanced cycling dynamics like power phase and seated versus standing time. ANT+, Bluetooth 5.0 and WiFi connectivity allow pairing with sensors, smart trainers, rear radar systems, Shimano Di2, SRAM eTap and compatible action cameras.

The battery life on this unit is likely not long enough for multi-day bikepacking without a charging solution. However for most riders this won’t be an issue.

Our team has put over 1,500 miles on the previous C606 computer and strongly recommend Magene computers to riders who are looking for a bike computer that is reliable and affordable. This computer takes everything we liked about the original C606 and improves on all of the shortcomings. While these advancements do increase the price, it is still much more competitive than similarly featured computers.
