The ENVE SES 4.5 PRO Disc Brake Wheelset is ENVE’s premier wheelset. Built for speed and performance and designed with input from Tadej Pogačar and UAE Team Emirates, the 4.5 PRO wheels blend proven aerodynamics with a new carbon layup that prioritizes weight savings without sacrificing ride quality. It uses a mixed rim depth of a 49 mm front wheel and 55 mm rear wheel. This gives you stability in crosswinds while still providing plenty of aerodynamic advantage. The 4.5 PRO wheelset weighs less than 1,300 grams and uses steel spokes and ceramic bearings.

The SES 4.5 PROs are laced to ENVE’s Innerdrive Hubs and are available with SRAM XDR and Shimano HG freehub bodies. These wheels come with the lightweight ENVE 40T PRO ratchet which is designed to reduce drag when coasting. These wheels are tubeless compatible and work with center lock brake rotors. The wheel hoops feature a 23.5 mm internal rim width and are aerodynamically optimized for a 28 mm tire. Compatibility

This wheelset is compatible with SRAM XDR or Shimano 11- and 12-speed cassettes depending on the freehub selected. Tubeless tires are required. See Compatibility tab for more information.

Minimum Tire Width

These wheels are hookless and have a minimum tire width of 27 mm. They have a maximum tire pressure of 100 PSI.

Considerations

Because this wheelset is designed for modern bikes and maximum performance gains, the SES 4.5 PRO is not compatible with rim brakes. In addition, this wheelset uses only premium materials which means it carries a premium price.
