ENVE SES 2.3 Disc Brake Wheelset
The ENVE SES 2.3 Disc Brake Wheelset is an ultralight wheelset. With a front wheel depth of 28 mm and rear wheel depth of 32 mm, the 2.3 is a favorite for riders looking to maximize performance on a hilly terrain. In addition, these wheels retain some aerodynamic shaping for descents and higher speed riding.
The ENVE SES 2.3s are laced to ENVE’s INNERDRIVE Premium Hubs that are available with SRAM XDR and Shimano HG freehub bodies. This updated hub uses straight pull spokes and is 60 grams lighter than the previous generation. The INNERDRIVE Premium hub also allows riders to choose their engagement option by swapping the ratchet between 40, 60, 80 and 100 teeth options. The wheel hoops themselves feature a 21 mm internal rim width and are compatible with 25 mm and larger tires. These wheels are tubeless tire compatible and work with center lock brake rotors.
Please note, while these wheels are every climber’s dream, they are not suitable for off-road use.
