The ENVE G SES 4.5 PRO Disc Brake Wheelset stands at the top of ENVE’s gravel lineup. Based on the incredibly successful 4.5 PRO, these wheels combine advanced aerodynamics with a wider rim profile. Just like the road version, ENVE uses a mixed depth design with a 49 mm front wheel and 55 mm rear wheel to balance crosswind stability with aerodynamic performance. Despite the deep profile, the wheelset weighs under 1,500 grams and uses steel spokes with smooth rolling ceramic bearings. They are meticulously crafted at ENVE’s Ogden, UT facility.

ENVE builds the G SES 4.5 PRO around Innerdrive PRO hubs with SRAM XDR and Shimano HG freehub options. The hubs use ENVE’s lightweight 40T PRO ratchet, which reduces drag while coasting. A 30 mm internal rim width pairs perfectly with modern gravel tires from 44 mm to 52 mm. The wheels require tubeless setups and center lock disc rotors. Compatibility

This ENVE G SES 4.5 Pro Disc Brake Gravel Wheelset is compatible with SRAM XDR or Shimano 11- and 12-speed cassettes depending on the freehub selected. Tubeless tires are required. See Compatibility tab for more information.

Minimum Tire Width

These wheels are hookless and have a minimum tire width of 40 mm. They have a maximum tire pressure of 50 PSI.

Considerations

Because this wheelset is designed for modern bikes and maximum performance gains, the G SES 4.5 PRO is not compatible with rim brakes. In addition, this wheelset uses only premium materials which means it carries a premium price.
