power2max NGeco ROTOR GRX Gravel Power Meter
The power2max NGeco ROTOR GRX Gravel Power Meter stands out in the power meter spider market. It is the only spider that supports the BCD layout needed for a Shimano GRX set-ups. The design uses a 110 GRX BCD for the big ring and an extra plate on the back for the GRX 80 BCD small ring. This lets you keep your GRX chainrings and most of your GRX drivetrain while running a ROTOR or QO crankset. It will also maintain your GRX 47 mm chainline.
The NGeco brings dual leg power measurement, ANT+ and Bluetooth SMART compatibility and left and right power balance. It stays accurate to +/- 2.0% in any riding conditions. Things are kept simple with auto zero calibration and accelerometer based cadence. If you ride a Shimano GRX drivetrain and want a clean upgrade path, this power meter delivers a unique solution.

Key Features of the power2max NGeco ROTOR GRX Gravel Power Meter
- Dual-Leg Power Measurement: Measures power from both left and right legs for accurate total power data, even if you have leg power imbalances. Individual leg power data and pedal smoothness come pre-activated on this power meter, at no additional cost.
- Long Battery Life: Up to 300 hours of battery life means more time training and less time looking for replacement batteries.
- Shimano GRX Compatibility: With a unique GRX 110/80 4-bolt BCD, you can use your existing GRX rings and maintain your current drivetrain setup.
- Data Multiple Ways: ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart connects to head units such as a Garmin Edge and a variety of training apps such as Zwift.
Power Measurement:
The power2max NGeco power meter measures power at the spider. It is therefore able to measure power from both legs.
Compatibility:
The power2max NGeco ROTOR GRX Gravel Power Meter is compatible with all 24 mm and 30 mm ROTOR ALDHU and VEGAST cranksets that have the Offset (long) spindle option from ROTOR. It is also compatible with QO GRAVA cranksets. Regarding chainrings, it only fits GRX 110/80 BCD 4-bolt chainrings. See Compatibility tab for more information.
Considerations
Like all spider-based power meters with this functionality, the NGeco provides estimated power balance data. While this estimation is highly accurate, it’s not true left-right power balance like the data recorded by dual-sided power meter pedals. If you are upgrading from GRX to a carbon crankset offering from ROTOR or QO you will need to change your bottom bracket.
Advice From Our Staff:
If you have a Shimano GRX drivetrain and wish to add dual sided power meter metrics to your training, this power meter spider is a great starting point. The NGeco ROTOR GRX is unique in using the Shimano GRX BCD layout. With the correct spindle length crankset from ROTOR or QO, it also keeps the proper GRX gravel chainline. This spider is particularly useful for those with a GRX drivetrain that would like a carbon power meter crankset. Our staff trusts power2max meters for their dependable accuracy, and this power meter is no different.
Other Versions to Consider
A drop-in power meter crankset replacement: The power meter spider on this page is featured as a part of the power2max NGeco ROTOR ALDHU 24MM Power Meter for GRX Chainrings. This aluminum crankset has the same 24 mm spindle and chainline as a Shimano GRX crankset. You just need to swap over your chainrings.
A drop-in, complete power meter crankset: If you would like an aluminum replacement power meter crankset for your existing Shimano GRX crankset that includes chainrings, we offer the power2max NGeco ROTOR ALDHU 24MM Gravel Power Meter Crankset. Please note that while this version also gives you a GRX 47 mm chainline, it gives you a slightly narrow Q factor than the option above.
Compatibility
Cranksets: The power2max NGeco ROTOR GRX Gravel Power Meter is compatible with all 24 mm and 30 mm ROTOR ALDHU and VEGAST cranksets, so long as the optional longer 'Offset' spindle from ROTOR is also used. This longer spindle maintains the Shimano GRX chainline, which is wider than the standard road chainline. This power meter spider is also compatible with the QO GRAVA crankset.
Chainrings: This power meter fits Shimano GRX 110 BCD 4-bolt outer rings and GRX 80 BCD 4-bolt inner rings. Please note, Shimano GRX 110 BCD 4-Bolt is not the same as regular Shimano 110 BCD 4-Bolt. In many cases, you can use your existing GRX chainrings.
