Stages Shimano Ultegra R8100 Right Side Power Meter

If you currently have a Stages Shimano 8100 left side crank arm, this Stages Shimano Ultegra R8100 Right Side Power Meter allows you to upgrade to a dual-sided power meter. With power sensors on both crank arms, you can measure and record total as well as independent L/R power measurement.

In addition, some bike frames cannot fit a left side crank arm-based power meter due to clearance issues with the chainstay. In these situations, this Stages right side power meter is a perfect solution. It allows you to quickly and easily add power to the right side of your crankset where clearance and compatibility issues don’t exist.

This power meter combines Shimano’s award-winning Ultegra R8100 groupset with Stages Cycling’s proven performance and dependability. The result is an accurate, lightweight, durable power that comes ready to ride on a Shimano R8100 right crank arm. The Stages power meter runs off of a CR2032 battery and features 200 hours of battery life. In addition, the power meter is extremely lightweight – adding only 20 grams to the weight of the crank arm. All Stages power meters are compatible with both ANT+ and Bluetooth SMART devices. This means you can use your favorite bicycle computer as well as a smartphone or tablet.

Common Questions and Answers

Question: Does this power meter come with a left crank arm too?

  • No, this power meter is a Stages right side crank arm only. Assuming you currently have a Shimano Ultegra R8100 crankset on your bike, you swap out your right side crank arm for this power equipped version, and you keep your current left side crank arm on the bike.

Question: How do I pair my new Stages right side power meter with my current left side?

Question: How do I determine what length my current cranks are so I can make sure I get the same size?

  • Your crank arm length should be printed or stamped on the inside of the left crank arm, usually near the pedal end.
