SRAM RED E1 XPLR AXS Rear Derailleur
The SRAM RED E1 XPLR AXS Rear Derailleur is made specifically for gravel and is ready to tackle any adventure! Built around SRAM’s UDH interface, this derailleur is free from adjustment screws and bent hangers. This makes set-up easy. It also means that the SRAM RED XPLR Rear Derailleur can handle sticks, rocks, mud and even airport baggage abuse.
Like all SRAM Transmission derailleurs, this one uses a Magic Wheel so your drivetrain will continue to run even if debris enters the lower pulley wheel. The AXS battery is neatly tucked into the derailleur itself which further secures it within the derailleur. It also features a spring clutch so you can keep the power down in rough terrain. It is completely rebuildable and replacement parts are available in case of a crash.
This derailleur is designed specifically for SRAM XPLR 13-speed cassettes and it uses the same AXS battery found in past and current AXS groupsets.
Please note the AXS battery is sold separately.
Red E1 XPLR Rear Derailleur Tech
Magic Wheel
The lower pulley wheel will continue to spin even if debris enters the lower pulley. This keeps your drivetrain moving well and reduces the likelihood of a broken derailleur cage.
Hangarless Interface
Compatible with Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH) frames, there is no need for a derailleur hanger. This makes for easy set up and accurate shifting in even the toughest conditions.
Spring Clutch
Take on the toughest trails with this derailleur’s MTB-inspired spring clutch.
AXS Integration
While the SRAM XPLR 13-Speed drivetrain is new, this derailleur and system integrates with the AXS ecosystem, including AXS batteries.
eTap Shift Logic
Customize your controls in the AXS app to optimize your drivetrain.
Features
- Wireless electronic eTap shift logic for intuitive shifting and easy setup
- SRAM AXS enabled
- MTB-inspired clutch which keeps the drivetrain quiet and secure
- Oversized pulley wheels for increased efficiency and durability
