The SRAM Force E1 AXS Road Groupset includes some of the most important upgrade components for your road bike. The groupset comes with brakes, calipers, rotors, front derailleur, rear derailleur, chain, batteries and chargers. In addition, it is available with or without the limited-edition Force E1 Hammerhead Karoo. This groupset builds on past generations of Force components and it is now lighter and offers pro-level performance at a more affordable price.

Most notably, the Force E1 brake levers have been redesigned with improved ergonomics and stopping power. The new lever now allows for true one-finger braking, allowing you to brake from the hoods or the drops. Additionally, with a Bonus Button on the inside of each lever, you can even shift from the tops of the hoods without needing to reach down for the shift paddle. With Contact Point Adjustment and Reach Adjust you can also adjust your reach exactly to your liking.

The Force E1 AXS Front Derailleur has also been overhauled to offer the most responsive, quick and precise shifting on the market. Featuring Yaw Technology, this derailleur uses electronic trim to ensure fast shifting while eliminating chain rub. In addition, the design carves out space for wide rear-tire clearance, making it a perfect fit for modern riding.

Considerations

This groupset contains most of the new Force E1 components. This is great for many riders as it is a worthy upgrade, but some may want to upgrade one or two items at a time.

We think this is a great groupset for most riders. It offers a noticeable upgrade, especially from the brakes and front derailleur and comes at a nice discount to the cost of the more expensive SRAM RED groupset.
