Sigeyi AXO SL Praxis Road Power Meter
The Sigeyi AXO SL Praxis Road Power Meter is a spider-based power meter that is compatible with Praxis 3-bolt road cranksets. The Sigeyi AXO SL improves upon the previous version AXO by reducing weight to well below 100 grams! In addition, the AXO SL improves compatibility, is stiffer than its predecessor and can now deliver pedaling smoothness data.
All Sigeyi power meters measure power from both legs and are accurate to +/- 1.0%. Moreover, they easily bolt up to your existing Praxis crankset which means there is no need to buy new cranks or replace your bottom bracket.
This Sigeyi power meter also features a rechargeable battery with 300 hours of ride time, auto-zero functionality (so your data is always accurate), left and right leg power balance and a 2-year manufacturers warranty. Of course, you also get Bluetooth Smart. This allows you to use the power meter with your favorite indoor training program or app.
Sigeyi AXO vs AXO SL Differences
The AXO SL is the latest version of the AXO power meter from Sigeyi.
- New Pedal Smoothness Feature: The SL can provide pedal smoothness metrics, helping riders even out their pedal stroke.
- Reduced Weight: This new version is astonishingly lightweight, dropping the mass of the power meter spider from 105 grams to 80 grams.
- Improved Stiffness: Despite the reduced weight, the AXO SL is 8% stiffer laterally and 10% stiffer torsionally. This means power transfer to the bike is improved.
- Reduced Volume: The total volume of the spider has been reduced by 35%, with a larger rear opening to improve compatibility with T47 bottom brackets. In addition, the front surface is now flat, allowing for use of covers to complete an OEM look.
The features that made the AXO such a great power meter spider have been kept, such as +/- 1.0% accuracy, auto-zero calibration, active temperature compensation and more.

Power Measurement
The Sigeyi power meter is a spider-based power meter and is therefore able to measure power from both legs.
Compatibility
The Sigeyi Praxis Road Power Meter is compatible with Praxis direct mount cranksets. Direct mount cranksets have drive-side crank arms that can be removed from the crankset. In addition, if you were to view the backside of the crank, you would see three small bolts or screws that secure the crank arm to the spider or chainring. It fits 110 BCD 4-bolt chainrings. See Compatibility tab for more information.
Considerations
Like all spider-based power meters with this functionality, the AXO SL provides estimated power balance data. While this estimation is highly accurate, it’s not true left-right power balance like the data recorded by dual-sided power meter pedals.
Advice From Our Staff
The Sigeyi AXO SL Power Meters are excellent options for adding power measurement to Praxis 3-Bolt road cranksets. The new AXO SL is among the lightest power meter spider available and builds on the strong feature set of the original AXO. It measures power from both legs, offering accurate, reliable and affordable performance. Since it bolts directly onto your existing crankset, there’s no need to buy new cranks or change bottom brackets. For those seeking maximum performance in a light package, the AXO SL is a compelling upgrade.
Compatibility
Crankset: The Sigeyi Praxis Road Power Meter is compatible with Praxis direct mount cranksets. Direct mount cranksets (left image) have drive-side crank arms that can be removed from the crankset. In addition, if you were to view the backside of the crank, you would see three small bolts or screws that secure the crank arm to the spider or chainring.
Standard cranksets (right image) have a one-piece drive-side crank arm and spider. That is, the crank arm and spider are one solid piece of aluminum.
Most modern Praxis cranksets are direct mount. This includes Zayante M30, Alba M30 and Zayante Carbon M30. It's very important you confirm you have a direct mount version where the drive-side crank arm can be removed. If you are not sure, please send us some images of your crankset and we would be happy to confirm for you.

Chainrings: This power meter is compatible with 110 BCD 4-bolt chainrings. In many cases, you can use your existing chainrings assuming they use the same configuration as the power meter you order.
Important chainring notes:
1) Some Praxis cranksets come equipped with direct mount chainrings, while others come with LevaTime 160/104 BCD chainrings. In either case, you will need to purchase new Praxis Works Buzz Road Chainrings or Praxis Works Buzz Sport Road Chainrings as direct mount or LevaTime chainrings won't work with a Sigeyi power meter. If you are not sure if your current chainrings will fit, please contact us so we can help.
2) This power meter is not compatible with Praxis 110x5 48/32 chainrings. This is because the 32T chainring is smaller than the diameter of the power meter. 110x5 50/34 is the smallest chainring that will work.
