As a lightweight XC tire, it is best for trails that feature minimal sharp rocks, roots or other obstacles that commonly puncture race-oriented tires. For gravel riders, the 29×2.1 size is approximately equivalent to 700x54C making it a great high volume gravel tire if your frame has the clearance.
