The all-new ROTOR INspider MTB Power Meter is more affordable, lighter and has increased chainring options! This spider-based power meter offers dual-leg power measurement for sub-$500. It is compatible with ROTOR KAPIC and KAPIC Carbon cranks and works with ROTOR 100×4 round and oval 1x chainrings which are available in sizes as small as 30T. It’s also extremely lightweight at only 105 grams which makes it 32% lighter than the previous version.

The ROTOR INspider MTB is accurate to +/- 1.5% and features a rechargeable battery with 350 hours of battery life. It has both ANT+ and Bluetooth compatibility which means you can use it with any bicycle computer, smartphone or indoor training app.

Compatibility:

This power meter is compatible with ROTOR KAPIC and KAPIC Carbon cranksets. Regarding chainrings, it works with ROTOR 100×4 round and oval 1x chainrings which are available in sizes 30T to 36T. See Compatibility tab for more information.

This is one of those power meters that’s easy to get excited about. Admittedly, it’s only compatible with ROTOR KAPIC cranksets, but it measures power from both legs, is affordable, lightweight,and  accurate and works with both round and oval chainrings in sizes as small as 30T. There’s not much more to wish for than that. In fact, even if you don’t have a KAPIC crankset, you can order the power meter with cranks and a chainring for as little as $899. That’s a pretty good deal for a dual-sided power meter crankset!
