INPEAK POWERCRANK-E TWiN2 Shimano R9200 Power Meter

The INPEAK POWERCRANK-E TWiN2 Shimano R9200 Power Meter is the perfect upgrade for riders with Shimano DURA-ACE R9200 drivetrains. This is one of the only power meter cranksets that uses a Shimano DURA-ACE crankset to provide you with accurate and reliable power data. This INPEAK power meter replaces your current 2×12 road crankset and features two rechargeable sensors. It measures the power generated by both legs independently, with left/right information gathered. Data transmits via ANT+ or Bluetooth Smart, ensuring seamless connectivity with your preferred head unit or training app.

Designed in Poland, INPEAK engineered the POWERCRANK-E TWiN2 sensors to handle whatever the Polish climate threw their way. As a result, the INPEAK POWERCRANK-E TWiN2 is IP67-rated for water and dust resistance. Alongside water and dust protection, it features active temperature compensation from 23°F to 122°F. While the INPEAK can withstand any adventure, it is one of the lightest options available and adds only 20 grams to the crankset. With USB charging there is no more searching for a spare battery, just charge and ride.

Key Features of the INPEAK POWERCRANK-E TWiN2 R9200 Power Meter

  • Robust Durability: The IP67 water and dust sealing and wide operating temp range means training in the snow or desert is not off the cards.
  • Compact Design: The sensors, at only 6 mm thick and 10 grams, fit most frames and add minimal weight.
  • Rechargeable Battery: Gaining a full charge in only 2 hours, the rechargeable Li-Po battery eliminates the disposable coin-cell frustrations.
  • Dual Sided Power Data: With sensors on both crank arms, the INPEAK POWERCRANK-E TWiN2 can measure independent left/right leg power information.

Power Measurement

This INPEAK power meter has a power sensor on both crank arms and measures power from both legs. It is also able to measure your left vs. right leg power.

Compatibility

The INPEAK POWERCRANK-E TWiN2 R9200 Power Meter is compatible with Shimano 12-speed road drivetrains and 24 mm bottom brackets. See Compatibility tab for more information.

Considerations

The INPEAK power meter is +/- 2.0% accurate, which is slightly lower than some alternatives. While some riders may want a power meter that is +/- 1.0% accurate, the difference usually amounts to only a few watts.

Advice From Our Staff

We recommend this power meter for riders who want a dual-sided power meter while still using a Shimano DURA-ACE crankset. The POWERCRANK-E TWiN2 9200 is also an excellent option if you prefer a rechargeable design. Installation is simple assuming you already have a Shimano 12-speed drivetrain and the INPEAK POWERCRANK-E TWiN2 Shimano R9200 delivers great power data in a durable package.

Compatibility

Bottom Bracket: This power meter is compatible with 24 mm bottom brackets.

Drivetrain: This power meter crankset is compatible with 12-speed Shimano drivetrains.

Check Frame Clearance: Crank-arm based power meters like this one attach a sensor on the inside of the left crank arm. On some bikes, there is not enough room between the left crank arm and the chainstay for the sensor to clear the frame. Therefore, you should make sure you have at least 8 mm of clearance between the left crank arm and the chainstay - and that you don't have a bottom bracket mounted rear brake (used on some aero and TT bikes). The important area to measure is right in the middle of the crank arm. Please refer to the image below.

If you find that you have around 6-7 mm of clearance, what many people will do is simply install a 1 or 2 mm bottom bracket spacer (between the left crank arm and the frame), which will give them the clearance they need.
