Garbaruk redesigned the upshift and downshift ramps to produce faster more precise shifts under load. In addition, a revised tooth profile stabilizes the chain during backpedaling and cuts drivetrain noise. Garbaruk also updated chamfers and improved mud evacuation channels keep shifting consistent in wet and gritty conditions. The 10-52T range delivers a wide 520 percent gear span and weighs just 350 grams. Garbaruk machines the first eleven cogs from a single block of chromoly steel and pairs them with a 7075-T651 aluminum 52T cog to balance durability and low weight.

Pro Tip When Installing Your Garbaruk 12-Speed MTB Cassette

This Garbaruk 12-speed mountain bike cassette uses a large 52-tooth cog. That cog often exceeds the size of the largest cog on many Shimano cassettes. Because of this, your rear derailleur cage may touch the 52T cog when you shift into the gears just below it. Your derailleur likely uses a setup that does not account for such a large cog. Fortunately, you can fix this quickly. Turn the B screw clockwise to increase the B gap. This adjustment pulls the derailleur cage away from the cassette and gives you the clearance needed for smooth safe shifting into the largest cogs.
