ENVE SES Tubeless Road Tire

The ENVE SES Tubeless Road Tire provides improved rolling efficiency, aerodynamics and handling. Developed in the wind tunnel, the ENVE SES tire has been tested and proven to reduce drag with its aero optimized shape and tread design. In addition, while it is similar in weight to some of the lightest tires on the market, it features better puncture resistance and lifespan.

The ENVE SES road tire has been created for ENVE SES wheels, but will still provide aero gains on other wheels. This tire is made from a natural and synthetic rubber compound and is compatible with hookless and hook-beaded rims. The tire is available in 27c, 29c, 31c, 33c and 35c sizes and in both black and tan colors.

Compatibility

This ENVE tire is made for use with both hooked and hookless rims. It is compatible with ENVE SES wheelsets and other standard road rims.

Considerations

We’re big fans of this tire, but we would note two considerations for users: It seems to be on the soft side. This is great for performance, grip, and handling, but it makes the tire a bit prone to punctures and nicks. Also, some of our customers have reported that mounting can be a bit tight. It’s really important when installing that your tubeless rim tape is seated down inside the rim channel. This will allow you to mount the tire more easily.

The ENVE SES Road Tire is a performance-based tire that can still be used every day. This tire is a great choice for riders racking up consistent mileage. It also has limited rolling resistance and promotes confidence in corners. While this is a popular tire for our staff, we do recognize that it is still a performance-oriented tire that can be more prone to punctures than tires with more robust casings.
