How Tariffs Are Affecting Our Prices
As a U.S.-based business, we are responsible for paying import fees when we purchase products from other countries. Due to the newly imposed tariffs, our costs have increased, and in some cases significantly, when importing these products.
While we’re absorbing as much of the added cost as possible, we can’t cover it all and remain profitable. As a result, we’ve had to adjust prices on some products. We promise we are doing our very best to continue to make these popular products available to our customers and at the lowest price we possibly can.
Please also understand that for some products, consumers are able to purchase directly from the foreign-based manufacturer. However, when your order arrives, you will then be required to pay the import duty yourself, whereas when you purchase from us (assuming you are based in the U.S.), we’ve already paid this import duty for you. We would add that when you purchase from us, we are also able to assist you with things like exchanges, returns, warranty requests, etc. That becomes much more difficult when dealing directly with the foreign-based manufacturer.
It’s important to us that we are upfront with our customers regarding this matter which is why we created this page and we will continue to keep it updated. If you have any questions on this, please reach out to us and we’re happy to help. We appreciate your understanding and continued support!
