The Sigeyi AXO SL SRAM 8-Bolt MTB Power Meter is a spider-based power meter that is compatible with SRAM 8-bolt MTB cranksets. The Sigeyi AXO SL improves upon the previous version AXO by reducing weight and adding pedaling smoothness data. All Sigeyi power meters measure power from both legs and are accurate to +/- 1.0%. Moreover, they easily bolt up to your existing SRAM crankset. This means there is no need to buy new cranks or replace your bottom bracket.

This Sigeyi power meter also features a rechargeable battery with 300 hours of ride time, auto-zero functionality (so your data is always accurate), left and right leg power balance and a 2-year manufacturers warranty. Of course, you also get Bluetooth Smart. This allows you to use the power meter with your favorite indoor training program or app.

Power Measurement

The Sigeyi AXO SL SRAM 8-Bolt MTB Power Meter is a spider-based power meter and is therefore able to measure power from both legs.

Compatibility

This Sigeyi fits SRAM direct mount 8-bolt cranksets. It uses a 104 BCD 4-bolt MTB chainring, not the direct mount chainrings found on many SRAM MTB cranksets. If you don’t already have a 104 BCD 4-bolt chainring, we offer several to choose from. See Compatibility tab for more information.

Considerations

Like all spider-based power meters with this functionality, the AXO SL provides estimated power balance data. While this estimation is highly accurate, it’s not true left-right power balance like the data recorded by dual-sided power meter pedals.

Options

Chainline and BCD: This Sigeyi AXO SL SRAM 8-Bolt MTB Power Meter is available in the following versions:

• 1X Boost | 104 BCD
• 1X Standard | 104 BCD

The 1X Boost configuration is recommended if your bike currently has a direct mount chainring with a 3 mm offset (which is what most modern mountain bikes have). These bikes usually feature 52 mm chainlines and 148 mm rear hubs, and are typically referred to as ‘Boost’. Please note this Boost version can also fit ‘SuperBoost’ bikes where you are replacing a 3 mm direct mount chainring.

The 1X Standard configuration is used for bikes that have a direct mount chainring with a 6 mm offset and is usually found on older mountain bikes. These bikes usually feature 49 mm chainlines and 142 mm rear hubs.
