Advice From Our Staff:
We’re really excited about this new SRAM Force AXS Power Meter Spider. Like the SRAM RED version, it provides dual-leg power measurement and features a 1-piece fully integrated power meter spider and chainrings, but costs $600 – well below what the RED version costs. One thing to note – while the chainrings are made to last 50% longer than SRAM’s 11-speed chainrings – the chainrings cannot be replaced when worn, since the rings and power meter are one solid piece. Most customers should be able to get many years of life out of the power meter before it needs to be replaced.
Options For This Power Meter
Chainrings: The power meter is available in the following chainring sizes:
- 46/33 | 48/35 | 50/37
Other Versions to Consider
RED AXS Version: We also sell the SRAM RED AXS Power Meter Spider. The RED is SRAM’s top-of-the-line spider, featuring the lightest, stiffest chainrings available.
Force AXS Crank Arm: We also sell the SRAM Force AXS Power Meter Crank Arm. This is a slightly more affordable power meter, however it only measures power from the left leg.
Force AXS 107 Power Meter Spider: We also sell the SRAM RED/Force AXS 107 BCD Power Meter Spider. This power meter uses a 107 BCD and replaceable chainrings. It is not as light and stiff as the power meter on this page, however because it uses replaceable chainrings, it will last longer than the version here. In addition, it can be used with 1x or 2x chainrings.
Compatibility
Cranks: This power meter is intended for use with Force D2 crank arms. However it is also compatible with:
- Force D1 DUB and GXP
- SRAM RED AXS DUB and GXP
