Magene PES Road Power Meter Crankset
The Magene PES Road Power Meter Crankset combines the P505 spider-based power meter with PES aluminum crank arms. This Magene crankset measures power from both legs, is accurate to +/- 1.5% and weighs 650 grams. The power meter also features a rechargeable battery with 200 hours of ride time, automatic calibration, is IPX7 rated against water and dust.
If you currently have a Shimano road crankset on your bike, this power meter is a direct replacement. This crankset uses a 24 mm spindle which means it will fit your current Shimano bottom bracket. It is also compatible with 110×4 BCD chainrings which makes swapping Shimano components and installation very simple.

For Shimano Users:
If you currently have a Shimano road crankset on your bike, this power meter is a direct replacement. It comes with the same spindle size as your current Shimano crankset and will fit your bottom bracket without any changes. In addition, you can use your current Shimano chainrings on it. This makes replacing your Shimano crankset very simple and easy.
Power Measurement:
The Magene P505 measures power at the spider and is therefore able to measure power from both legs.

The Magene PES Road Power Meter Crankset is an excellent choice for those currently using Shimano components and looking to upgrade to a power meter. Because it uses a 24 mm spindle, it is easy to swap and install without the need to change bottom brackets. You can also use your current Shimano chainrings on it.

Professional Assembly (Optional)
We are happy to professionally assemble your power meter crankset if you select this option when ordering. This ensures your crankset is correctly built and saves you time. Professional assembly includes:
- Mount the power meter to the cranks and tighten to factory specifications
- Apply multi-purpose bicycle grease where necessary
- Install chainrings on the power meter (if chainrings are ordered)
Please note – while we tighten everything to factory specs, it is still your responsibility to routinely check your power meter crankset to make sure all bolts and nuts remain securely fastened.
Compatibility
Chainrings: The power fits 110x4 BCD chainrings. In many cases, you can use your existing chainrings assuming they use the same configuration as the power meter you order.
The 110 BCD 4-Bolt version is compatible with all Shimano 4-bolt chainrings, including Shimano 12-speed chainrings.
Bottom Bracket: This power meter fits 24 MM bottom brackets. If you are ordering the same size as you currently have on your bike, you should be able to re-use your existing bottom bracket. However, if you are changing spindle sizes, you will need to replace your bottom bracket.
