INPEAK POWERCRANK Shimano GRX RX820 Power Meter
The INPEAK POWERCRANK Shimano GRX RX820 Power Meter is a power meter crank arm upgrade for Shimano GRX RX810 and RX820 cranksets. This INPEAK GRX power meter replaces your current non-drive side crank arm. It measures the power generated by your left leg and doubles it to determine your total watts. Data transmits via ANT+ or Bluetooth Smart, ensuring seamless connectivity with your preferred head unit or training app.
Designed in Poland, INPEAK made the POWERCRANK sensor to handle whatever the Polish climate threw their way. As a result, the INPEAK RX820 power meter is IP67-rated for water and dust resistance. Alongside water and dust protection, it features active temperature compensation from 23°F to 122°F. In addition, it is one of the lightest options available as it adds only 10 grams to the crank arm. Rain or shine the INPEAK Shimano RX820 Power Meter will dutifully record your stats ride after ride.

Power Measurement
This INPEAK power meter measures left leg power and doubles the value to account for both legs (assumes both legs are generating the same force).
Compatibility
This power meter is compatible with Shimano GRX RX810 and RX820 cranksets. See Compatibility tab for more information.
Considerations
The INPEAK POWERCRANK RX820 Power Meter measures power only from your left leg. This means total power is estimated by doubling the left leg’s output. While this works well for many riders it may be less accurate if there is a strength difference between your legs. This is common with single-sided power meters and worth considering if precise total power is your priority. In addition, the +/- 2.0% measurement accuracy is less than other options, although for many riders this is only a few watts in either direction.

Compatibility
Crankset: This INPEAK power meter is compatible with Shimano GRX RX820, RX810, RX600 and RX400 cranksets. Please note that the finish of this power meter is designed to match RX820 crankset. While it will work with RX810, RX600 and RX400 cranksets, the finish will be slightly different. This is purely an aesthetic difference.
Check Frame Clearance: Crank-arm based power meters attach a sensor on the inside of the left crank arm. On some bikes, there is not enough room between the left crank arm and the chainstay for the sensor to clear the frame. Therefore, you should make sure you have at least 8 mm of clearance for the INPEAK POWERCRANK. Also, make sure that you don't have a bottom bracket mounted rear brake (used on some aero and TT bikes). The important area to measure is right in the middle of the crank arm. Please refer to the image below.
If you find that your clearance is close but not quite sufficient, what many people will do is simply install a 1 or 2 mm bottom bracket spacer (between the left crank arm and the frame). This should provide you with the clearance you need.
