SRAM Rival E1 AXS XPLR Power Meter Crankset
The SRAM Rival E1 AXS XPLR Power Meter Crankset is an affordable power meter crankset for gravel and adventure bikes. This spindle-based power meter measures power from the left leg and is +/- 1.5% accurate. It uses a replaceable AAA battery featuring 400+ hours of battery life which is perfect for long adventures without access to charging. In addition, this power meter crankset uses a 1x chainring. This eliminates the need for a front derailleur which simplifies and saves weight on your bike’s drivetrain.
This power meter supports both ANT+ and Bluetooth SMART for easy pairing with your favorite devices. It’s IPX7 waterproof and backed by a 2-year warranty for added peace of mind. The lightweight aluminum crank arms are built for durability on rough terrain, with cutouts to reduce weight without sacrificing strength.

- 1x Drivetrain Simplicity: Fewer parts, less weight and smoother operation on rough roads.
- Affordable Power Meter Crankset: Provides accurate power measurement to riders without the high price tag.
Power Measurement
This SRAM power meter is a spindle-based power meter which provides left leg power measurement.
Compatibility
This power meter crankset is compatible with DUB Wide brackets and bikes with a 47.5 mm chainline. See Compatibility tab for more details.
Considerations
This is a single-sided power meter, meaning it measures power from the left leg only and doubles it to estimate total output. While this makes it very affordable, it can be less precise than dual-sided power meters, especially for riders with leg imbalances.

Prateek R –
The build quality of the new generation of Sram products are superb. This Rival cransket is a perfect balance of cost and function. This is the new 105 – the people’s groupset. I have used Rotor cranks for the longest time for their shorter crank lengths. Their ANT+ and BLE connectivity was terrible and have had to do warranty replacements. The Sram Rival syncs up faster than I can blink. The access to maintenance and install guides from factory is second to none.
Also, Powermetercity is the easiest place to buy from. How other stores haven’t figured out how to lay out all the combination of length and chainring option in a single page like this is beyond me. Saves you from buying a crankset and a separate chainring that you actually want.
