SRAM Force E1 AXS Power Meter Crankset
The SRAM Force E1 AXS Power Meter Crankset features SRAM’s Force E1 carbon crank arms and SRAM’s latest power meter and chainrings. The Force E1 crank arms have been redesigned and are 60 grams lighter than the previous version. They continue to use a DUB spindle and are now available in 160 mm – 175 mm crank lengths.
The Force E1 AXS power meter now uses a Thread Mount design. Instead of the power meter and chainring being completely integrated, the chainrings thread onto the power meter. The Thread Mount design improves power transfer and improves shifting under load since the entire chainring is in contact with the power meter. In addition, this new set-up gives you the ability to change chainrings as needed. The chainrings are easily removed with SRAM’s Thread Mount Chainring Removal Tool.
This power meter crankset uses a spider-based power meter that is +/- 1.5% accurate. It provides left vs. right power balance and uses a CR2032 battery. It also features ANT+ and Bluetooth SMART, auto-zero, active temperature compensation and comes with a full 2-year warranty.

Key Features of the SRAM Force E1 Power Meter Crankset
- Updated Force E1 Crank Arms: Redesigned and lighter than ever before. Now available in 160 mm – 175 mm crank lengths.
- Thread Mount Design: Easily swap between chainrings without sacrificing stiffness or shift quality.
- SRAM Power Meter: Reliable power measurement with +/- 1.5% power meter accuracy.
- Replaceable Battery: No need to remember to charge your power meter. This uses a CR2032 battery that offers 200 hours of battery life.
- AXS Integration: Easily view, calibrate and update your power meter in the AXS app.
Power Measurement
The SRAM power meter measures power at the spider and is therefore able to measure power from both legs.
Compatibility
This power meter crankset is compatible with SRAM DUB brackets and SRAM 12-speed Flattop chains. See Compatibility tab for more information.
Considerations
While Force is SRAM’s mid-tier offering, this is still an expensive power meter crankset. You do get carbon crank arms and a Thread Mount power meter, but this crankset may be more than some are looking to spend.
Advice From Our Staff
This is an exciting product from SRAM as they have made the Force crank arms even lighter and their power meter now uses a Thread Mount design. This means you can easily swap between chainrings instead of them being integrated with your power meter. We recommend this to riders who are looking for a power meter crankset that will perform extremely well without breaking the bank.
