Thank you for the review! We’re thrilled the carbon crank build turned out great and performs as well as it looks. Ride safe!

Pretty disappointed in the product, more so in the carbon chainrings. I will say Dave in customer service was great and made sure I got the crankset kit asap for a build that I wanted to use for a weekend event, but in the end I couldn’t even run the crankset and switched back to my stock Ultegra ones. The cranks themselves are light and beautiful with the carbon fiber construction and installation is super easy with the right tools. However I had these professionally installed at my local bike shop and they could not get these to shift right no matter what. They shifted so bad in the stand they dropped multiple chains marring my brand new frame, which is a whole other story. Out of the stand and me trying to shift from the small chain ring to the big one it would not shift! I am not talking it wasn’t as crisp, or there was a delay, or the chainring were louder than the stock ones, but full on the front derailleur would not shift. The front Di2 derailleur was brand new and working. The tech at the LBS said it’s probably due to the lack of chainring ramps on the carbon chainrings. At this point the bike was so marred by the dropped chains the shop agreed to take back the bike but also refused to use these chainrings and cranks on my replacement bike. A course these were installed and used, so I can’t return and I am out $800. Not quite sure what to think since I have seen other people successfully install these cranks and carbon chainrings without the shifting issues. All in all for me personally a waste of money and a massive headache with the shop. But hey I got a brand new bike!

Hi Joseph! We’re sorry to hear about your experience and the issues you encountered with the carbon chainrings. That’s definitely not the outcome we want for any of our customers. These chainrings have performed well for most riders, so we’re not sure what may have caused the shifting problem in your setup. Every drivetrain can behave a bit differently depending on the exact component mix and tuning. If you’d like, we’d be happy to take a closer look at your setup details (crank model, chain, derailleur, etc.) to see if we can help troubleshoot or suggest a fix. Thank you!

2 of these. Stiff, quick change with a Shimano crank. About 1/2 lb lighter. Shift quality is the same. Have one built with a sigeyi pm. Great service, great product
