The Black Inc 48|58 Disc Brake Wheelset is designed to maximize aero performance while still being very light. These wheels use a mixed depth of a 48 mm front wheel with a 58 mm rear wheel which helps ensure stability in windy conditions. They are handmade and use the best possible materials. Featuring a carbon rim and carbon spokes, these wheels weigh only 1,290 grams! In addition, they use CeramicSpeed ceramic bearings to increase rolling efficiency and reduce drag.

The Black Inc 48|58 wheels are available with SRAM XDR and Shimano HG freehub bodies. Their High Flange Alloy Hub uses 20 straight pull carbon spokes with external alloy nipples. This makes it easy to keep your wheels true. These wheels have a hooked rim profile and have been aerodynamically optimized for 28 mm tires. They feature a UD matte glossy clear coat and work with center lock disc brake rotors.

The Black Inc 48|58 wheels are hooked and have a recommended minimum tire width of 26 mm.

Considerations

Since these are high-performance, high-end road wheels, they come at a higher price point. Also, we suggest you only buy these wheels if you intend to use them for road riding as they aren’t ideal for off-road use.
