ROTOR 2INpower DM Road Power Meter
The ROTOR 2INpower DM Road Power Meter makes several improvements over the previous generation ROTOR (the INpower). Perhaps the biggest change is the 2INpower features independent left/right power measurement. ROTOR has added two additional sets of strain gauges to the right crank arm that measure right leg power. Four strain gauges located in the crank axle measure the left leg’s power output (as is the case with the previous INpower version).
In addition, the 2INpower DM features ROTOR’s Direct Mount Chainrings. The Direct Mount rings are machined from a solid block of 7075 aluminum which makes them lighter and stronger than the standard 2x chainring configuration. The ROTOR 2INpower DM has Bluetooth SMART functionality, a built-in rechargeable battery and features +/- 1.5% accuracy.

Power Measurement:
This ROTOR power meter has two power sensors (bottom bracket and right crank arm) and measures power from both legs. It is also able to measure your left vs. right leg power.

This 2INpower is pricey and we understand it’s not in everyone’s budget. However, here’s why we like it: it measures power from both legs, provides left vs. right leg power, the aluminum crank arms are light and stiff and the ROTOR direct mount chainrings further increase stiffness. In addition, this power meter makes it easy to run oval rings if that’s your thing.

INpower Version: While the 2INpower you are viewing on this page measures power from both legs, we also have the ROTOR 2INpower SL Road Power Meter which is a complete crankset but measures left leg power only.
Compatibility
Chainrings: The ROTOR 2INpower is compatible with a wide selection of ROTOR chainrings. They are designed to work with 9-, 10-, 11-, 12-, and 13-speed groupsets.
Bottom Bracket: This power meter fits 30 MM bottom brackets. If you currently have a 30 MM crankset on your bike, you should be able to re-use your existing bottom bracket. However, if you are changing spindle sizes, you will need to replace your bottom bracket.

Common Questions and Answers
Question: Can I use the ROTOR 2INpower with a SRAM AXS groupset?
- Yes, you can absolutely use the ROTOR 2INpower with a SRAM AXS drivetrain. In order to do so, you would need to purchase the ROTOR 110×4 Aero Chainrings for SRAM AXS. These chainrings are available in round or oval. In addition, you would need the ROTOR 110×4 Spider or the ROTOR 110×4 Aero Spider. The spider is used to connect the chainrings to the power meter.
Question: Is the ROTOR 2INpower road power meter compatible with 12-speed drivetrains?
- Yes, the ROTOR 2INpower DM Road Power Meter is compatible with 12-speed drivetrains. Please see our article for more information: Is the ROTOR 2INpower road power meter compatible with 12-speed drivetrains?
Question: How do I determine what length my current cranks are so I can make sure I get the same size?
- Your crank arm length should be printed or stamped on the inside of the left crank arm, usually near the pedal end.

Great product! The power meter provides accurate data with a quick response. The enough spacers were provided with the product, so I was able to fit the crankset to my old bike (2011 Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL4) without purchasing additional spacer. But the only thing that I do not like is that it is hard to assemble the non-drive side crank arm to the shaft and take it off as opposed to the instruction. But overall, I am happy with the power meter.
