Praxis Works 1x 110×5 CX/Gravel Chainring

Introducing the all-new Praxis Works 1x 110×5 CX/Gravel Chainring with narrow/wide tooth profile! Made for 1x 110×5 road, CX or gravel cranksets, this chainring features the highest possible level of chain retention, making it perfect for CX’ing in mud or grinding some gravel. Praxis rings are machined from 7075 T6 aluminum for superior stiffness and are hard anodized for additional durability. It is available in sizes 38T to 46T.

Compatibility

  • Crankset: Compatible with 110 BCD, 5-bolt road and gravel cranksets
  • Chain: Compatible with 10-, 11- and 12-speed drivetrains (not compatible with Campagnolo groupsets)

    This is a pretty awesome chain ring with a new design. Super light! I needed a 40 tooth for cyclocross that was compatable with my Power2Max Ngeco PM I got 2 years ago from you guys. First race third place! I will take it 🙂

    I purchased this along with a power2max NGeco power meter. The chainring is excellent and the customer service sets a real high-water mark. I sent a question via email, and Josh quickly responded with an answer and a video on how to access the chainring/power meter. To top it off, they put the chainring on the power meter before sending it to me. It took only a few minutes to install the PM and I was off riding. Kudos to Power Meter City for their help excellent customer service!

    I got this to replace a direct mount Praxis chainring that came on my Ibis Hakka MX, basically the same thing, when I added a power meter. Chain retention is not nearly as good. The image here shows a wide tooth profile, which is similar to what my direct mount chainring looks like. But the chainring I received has a narrower tooth profile. I’m not sure if Praxis changed the design or what, but this chainring certainly is not equivalent to the direct mount chainring that came with the Hakka. Would not recommend.

      Hi Phil. I know we spoke on this but just to leave a note for others, Praxis updated the tooth profile on their Wave chainring to accommodate 12-speed SRAM and Shimano cranks, while maintaining 10- and 11-speed compatibility. The image on the page is the correct one. Thanks!

    This is a very nicely made ring. I use it on my 1x gravel bike and have not dropped a chain yet! A little detail I like is the etched chain picture so you know which link goes on which tooth which is otherwise easy for folks like me to forget.
