The Magene P505-S1078 SRAM 8-Bolt 107 BCD Power Meter is a spider-based power meter that is compatible with SRAM 8-bolt road cranksets. The Magene power meter measures power from both legs, is +/- 1% accurate and features automatic calibration. Weighing only 110 grams and utilizing a rechargeable battery, this power meter is feature rich and allows you to add power to your crankset without changing crank arms or bottom brackets.
The Magene P505 also features a 200 hour ride time, pedal smoothing, IPX7 water and dust proofing, an app for calibration and 2-year manufacturers warranty. It can connect with ANT+ or Bluetooth which allows you to use your favorite indoor training program or app.

Compatibility:
The Magene P505-S1078 SRAM 8-Bolt Power Meter is compatible with 8-bolt cranks. This includes the Quarq DUB, Force D1 DUB/GXP, Force D2 DUB and SRAM RED DUB/GXP. Please note this is not compatible with pre-DUB 8-bolt crank arms. It fits 107 BCD 4-bolt chainrings. See the Compatibility tab for more information.
Power Measurement:
The Magene P505 measures power at the spider and is therefore able to measure power from both legs. It also measures left and right power balance, cadence and pedal smoothing.

The Magene P505 SRAM 8-Bolt Power Meter is a great way to add power to SRAM 8-bolt 107 BCD cranksets. It is affordable, accurate and because it bolts on to your existing crankset, there is no need to buy new cranks or change bottom brackets.

Compatibility
Cranksets: The Magene P505-S1078 SRAM 8-Bolt 107 BCD Power Meter is compatible with 8-bolt Quarq DUB, Force D1 DUB/GXP, Force D2 DUB and SRAM RED DUB/GXP cranksets. Please note it is not compatible with pre-DUB 8-bolt crank arms.
Chainrings: Regarding chainrings, it fits 107x4 BCD chainrings. In many cases, you can use your existing chainrings assuming they use the same configuration as the power meter you order.
Note - Some SRAM cranksets come equipped with direct mount chainrings. In this case, you will need to purchase new chainrings as direct mount chainrings won't work with a power meter spider. We have several chainrings to choose from on our Chainrings page.
